Abstract

Quality Control Circle (QCC) is a small group that is holding a volunteer quality control activities in their own workplace consists of 8 steps: determine the themes, determine targets, analysis conditions, causal analysis, mitigation plan, mitigation, evaluation of the results of the implementation of the improvement, standardization and follow-up. Research conducted at PT.SIP-the area in production process namely JIEP line packaging primer on GD 3, which provided the area is research line of machines that have the utilization KSM III. In this research, the concept applied to correct Losses QCC settings obtained from pareto Top 5 Losses over a period of 5 months. The purpose of this study was to observe and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of the mechanism, solving problems with implementation of QCC, by finding the most dominant factor which ‘problem’ on work process at KSM III. Data processing is carried out in stages using a QCC 7 QC tools such as check sheet, stratification, Paretho diagrams, causal diagrams, and charts. This research also provides recommendations to improve the way setting the optimal feeding chute based on analysis of the causes of which are poured into the causal diagrams and analyses of REBA. Before the repair is done, the average complaint is equal to 7.7. Assuming the issues resolved, the average complaint is 0. Quality Control Circle (QCC) merupakan suatu kelompok kecil yang secara ‘sukarela’ mengadakan kegiatan pengendalian mutu di dalam tempat kerja mereka sendiri yang terdiri dari 8 langkah yakni: menentukan tema, menentukan target, analisa kondisi yang ada, analisa sebab akibat, rencana penanggulangan, pelaksanaan penanggulangan, evaluasi hasil perbaikan, standarisasi dan tindak lanjut. Penelitian dilakukan di PT.SIP- kawasan JIEP pada proses produksi yaitu lini pengemas primer di GD.3, area yang dijadikan penelitian adalah lini mesin KSM III yang mempunyai utilisasi yang tinggi. Dalam penelitian ini, konsep QCC diterapkan untuk memperbaiki Losses Setting yang didapatkan dari pareto Top 5 Losses selama kurun waktu 5 bulan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengamati dan menganalisa mekanisme, efektivitas dan efisiensi penyelesaian masalah dengan implementasi QCC, dengan mencari faktor yang paling dominan yang menyebabkan ‘masalah’ pada proses kerja Operator KSM III. Pengolahan data dilakukan dalam tahapan-tahapan QCC dengan menggunakan 7 QC tools seperti check sheet, statifikasi, diagram pareto, diagram sebab akibat, dan grafik. Penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi-rekomendasi untuk memperbaiki cara penyetelan feeding chute yang optimal berdasarkan analisa penyebab yang kesemuanya dituangkan kedalam diagram sebab akibat dan analisa REBA. Sebelum dilakukan perbaikan, rata-rata keluhan adalah sebesar 7,7. Dengan asumsi masalah-masalah teratasi, rata-rata keluhan adalah 0.
