Abstract

PT. XYZ sales reports are still using manual systems. Data management and reporting sales in the future will have problems such as the limited amount of storage and less integrated. Along the growing workload and the resulting information system aswell as large so that the data can no longer be traced, because the volume is too large or often referred to as the flood of data then this is where the role of intelligent business needs.The design of data warehouse refers to the methodology used Kimball.By using existing data sources, Authors did design a data warehouse using a star schema. Pentaho as tools for research data warehouse and displays in the form of tables and graphs. Keywords : Pentaho, ETL, SWOT, OLAP Laporan penjualan PT. XYZ masih menggunakan sistem secara manual. Pengelolaan data dan pelaporan penjualan di kemudian hari akan memiliki beberapa kendala diantaranya terbatasnya jumlah penyimpanan dan kurang terintegrasi. Seiring membesarnya beban kerja dan system informasi yang dihasilkan juga sama besarnya sehingga data sudah tidak bisa lagi ditelusuri, karena volume yang sudah terlalu besar atau sering dikenal dengan banjir data maka di sinilah peran business Intelligent dibutuhkan. Perancangan data warehouse yang digunakan mengacu pada methodology Kimball. Dengan menggunakan sumber data yang ada, penulis melakukan perancangan data warehouse dengan menggunakan pemodelan skema bintang. Pentaho sebagai tools untuk penelitian data warehouse dan menampilkan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Kata Kunci : Pentaho, ETL, SWOT, OLAP
