Abstract
Penjelasan tata cara shalat dalam bentuk buku dan video sudah banyak tersedia di pasaran, namun belum ada atau masih sedikit yang dijelaskan dalam bentuk aplikasi augmented reality untuk mobile android. Aplikasi yang dibuat penulis tidak hanya menampilkan tulisan, gambar ataupun video seperti penjelasan tata cara shalat yang sudah ada sebelumnya, melainkan menggunakan teknologi game engine yang menampilkan visualisasi tiga dimensi secara interaktif. Sistem augmented reality yang digunakan menggunakan metode user-defined image dari vuforia dengan dukungan unity 3d sebagai game engine, sehingga pengguna dapat dengan bebas membuat marker sendiri. Aplikasi simulasi gerakan shalat juga menggunakan sistem virtual reality sebagai pilihan kedua. Scene virtual reality mensimulasikan bacaan shalat lebih lengkap daripada scene augmented reality. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian pada scene augmented reality, pendeteksian marker hanya dapat berjalan dengan baik apabila kondisi cahaya cukup terang atau lebih dari 256 lux dan sudut kamera terhadap marker antara 0° - 30°. Kata kunci: Shalat, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Android, Unity3d There are so many books and videos which explain the prayer movements. There haven’t been any prayer movements explained in Augmented Reality Android mobile apps. The application is not only show the information in texts, graphics or videos as the explanation previously explained but also use game engine technology to visualize 3D environment interactively. User-defined Image method from vuforia were used in augmented reality system which supported by Unity3d game engine. The users can create their own markers. The Simulation of Prayer movements application uses virtual reality system too. The words in Virtual reality scene are more pronounced than in Augmented Reality scene. The result of testing in augmented reality scene indicates that markers will be detected if the room has enough light or the light intensity is more than 256 lux and camera angle is between 0 to 30 degrees.
