Abstract
One topic that quite difficult in communication data is a topic about data encoding. This is because the presentation of the various theory are still to be written and / or drawings, which are often not very easy to understand. In order to make the learning process easier, a supporting tool is needed. Application simulation of data encoding is one way to facilitate possession of a material is to present it in an interesting and interactive. In data encoding technique, there are a number of changes from data into signals, which comprises digital data into five scheme digital. In this research, simulation of data encoding using five encoding scheme, namely Return to Zero (RZ). Nonreturn to Zero Level (NRZ-L), Nonreturn to Zero Invert on Ones (NRZ-1). Manchester, and Differential Manchester. Borland Delphi 7 and Macromedia Flash 8 are tools to create this application. Model software design approach that used is the Waterfall model. This application simulation of data encoding are include module and quiz interactive which is focused on one module, namely the data encoding. At the end of this thesis, the Application has to trial and examination that result is this Application simulation of data encoding was running as well as requirement and ERS TAS input error can be filter it. MERCU BUANA Keywords: Digital signal, Data Encoding Technique. Salah satu topik yang cukup sulit dalam komunikasi data adalah topik mengenai data encoding. Hal ini disebabkan karena penyajian materi tersebut masih bersifat tulisan, angka atau gambar, yang tidak mudah untuk dipahami. Dengan tujuan untuk memudahkan pemahaman dalam proses pembelajaran, maka diperlukan sebuah alat pendukung. Aplikasi simulasi perangkat pembelajaran komunikasi data teknik pengkodean sinyal digital adalah merupakan satu cara untuk mengatasi mengatasi masalah tersebut. Dalam teknik pengkodean data, dengan memasukkan suatu angka maka bisa didapatkan perubahan data menjadi bentuk sinyal-sinyal, yang dikoversikan dari data digital kedalam bentuk tertentu dari lima skema teknik pengkodean yaitu Return to Zero (RZ), Nonreturn to Zero Level (NRZ-L), Nonreturn to Zero Invert on Ones (NRZ-I), Manchester, dan Differensial Manchester. Dengan melalui pemrograman Borland Delphi 7 dan digabungkan dengan Macromedia Flash 8. Aplikasi ini dirancang. Model pendekatan perancangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah model waterfall. Aplikasi ini dilengkapi dengan modul dan kuiz yang bersifat interaktif yang difokuskan pada satu modul yaitu tentang pengkodean data digital. Pada bagian akhir skripsi, dilakukan pengujian terhadap Aplikası yang menghasilkan sebuah Perangkat Ajar Teknik Pengkodean Sinyal Digital yang dapat berjalan sesuai dengan perancangan dan sistem dapat memfilter jika terjadi kesalahan-kesalahan input. Kata kunci: Sinyal Digital, Teknik Pengkodean Data.
