Abstract

Android is an operating system that is rapidly growing. It is characterized by increasing versions of operating systems and applications developed are also increasingly diverse. Nowadays, most tracking applications only track the location based on GPS or Cell ID. It is also not necessarily get the full feature. Meanwhile, to get the full feature, it must use a paid system. Each tracking method has drawbacks. Here, the application is able to track the position of that Android phone based on GPS and Cell ID and to obtain the phone presence information, then used SMS service that is able to send response automatically. Keyword: Android, Tracking, Location, GPS, Cell ID, SMS Android merupakan sistem operasi yang sedang berkembang pesat. Hal ini ditandai dengan semakin meningkatnya versi sistem operasi dan aplikasi yang dikembangkan juga semakin beragam. Saat ini, kebanyakan aplikasi pelacakan hanya melacak lokasi berdasarkan GPS atau Cell ID. Itupun belum tentu mendapatkan fitur yang lengkap. Sedangkan, untuk mendapatkan fitur yang lengkap, maka harus menggunakan sistem yang berbayar. Masing-masing cara pelacakan ini memiliki kelemahan. Di sini, dibuatlah aplikasi yang mampu melacak posisi keberadaan ponsel Android berdasarkan GPS dan Cell ID dan untuk mendapatkan informasi keberadaan ponsel maka digunakan layanan SMS yang mampu mengirimkan respon secara otomatis.
