Abstract
Sebagai negara produsen gas yang besar, pemanfaatan BBG di Indonesia terhitung sangat kecil. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan hal ini adalah rendahnya kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap keamanan penggunaan BBG. Pemeriksaan kondisi tabung sebagai komponen kunci belum diterapkan sesuai regulasi yang ada. Sebuah sistem yang menerapkan teknologi RFID untuk memonitor kondisi tabung secara preventif berdasarkan data umur dan penggunaannya diterapkan pada lima SPBG dan satu bengkel uji. Pada sistem ini diilakukan deteksi dini kondisi tabung pada kendaraan umum saat melakukan pengisian BBG dan dikeluarkan rekomendasi pengujian tabung sesuai regulasi yang berlaku untuk meminimalisasi resiko penggunaan BBG pada kendaraan. Dari data yang terkumpul terdeteksi sejumlah kendaraan yang melanggar aturan batas waktu uji tabung. Kunci: BBG, Bahan Bakar Gas, CNG, Compressed Natural Gas, Sistem Monitoring, Penerapan RFID. As one of the biggest gas producer countries, the use of gas fuel for vehicle in Indonesia is relatively insignificant. It is due to the lack of trust on consumers part regarding its safety aspect. Regular testing of gas tube as the key component have not complied with the existing regulation. A system applying RFID technology to preventively monitor gas tube based on its age and usage has been installed in five gas stations and a gas tube testing shop. In this system an early detection for gas tube condition installed in public transportation is performed, so that a set of test required for gas tube safety can be recommended in timely manner in compliance with the applicable regulation, which minimize the risk in gas usage for vehicle. From collected data,it was found that a number of vehicles violated due date for gas tube test. Keywords: Gas Fuel, BBG, CNG, Compressed Natural Gas, Monitoring System, RFID Application.
