Abstract

In PT. Rekayasa Engineering (PTRE), the information presented in the form of important documents. When it got a project from a client, PTRE make documents related to the project. These documents include Data Sheet, Material Take Off, Drawing and others. However, these documents have not been properly managed in the distribution, so that when other departments need these documents should be asked to the Document Control or through a person directly involved in the project. With the development of technology, can be made an application Electronic Document Control System (E-Docs) which can be used to manage documents related to the project. The application runs on a web service to facilitate the division operation and the client to access the E-Docs. Keywords : Document Registering, E-Docs, Submitted Document, Web Service Di PT. Rekayasa Engineering (PTRE), informasi yang disajikan dalam bentuk dokumen-dokumen penting. Ketika mendapat suatu proyek dari klien, PTRE ini membuat suatu dokumen-dokumen yang berkaitan dengan proyek tersebut. Dokumen-dokumen tersebut antara lain Data Sheet, Material Take Off, Drawing dan lain-lain. Namun dokumen-dokumen tersebut belum dikelola dengan baik dalam pendistribusiannya, sehingga ketika departemen lain membutuhkan dokumen tersebut harus diminta ke bagian Document Control atau melalui orang yang terlibat langsung di dalam proyek tersebut. Dengan perkembangan teknologi, dapat dibuat suatu aplikasi Electronic Document Control System (E-Docs) yang dapat digunakan untuk mengelola dokumendokumen yang berkaitan dengan proyek. Aplikasi tersebut berjalan pada web service sehingga memudahkan divisi operation serta klien dalam mengakses E-Docs tersebut.
