Abstract

Business developments in the retail world are now using computer technology to facilitate the whole process so much better than before. In the retail business is in dire need of rapid identification technologies like barcode and efficiently. The use of barcodes in the retail world has been widely used as identification to obtain product information. Retail business is very closely related to the tenants in running their business processes. Tenant has a goal to increase the productivity of selling products. In the supermarket, there are two systems foodmart karawaci tenants are ongoing data collection / absent tenants and rental tenants. Each tenant will come himself into the record books absent tenant. This data is used to determine the activity you have in store. Tenant rent process would occur if the tenant has completed the requirements and received approval from the supervisor and the store manager. Both of these systems will be merged with the aid of a computerized barcode technology as pengidentifikasiannya and can provide a full report so that necessary information can be fulfilled. Perkembangan Bisnis dalam dunia retail saat ini sudah menggunakan computer technology untuk memudahkan seluruh proses agar lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Dalam bisnis retail sangat membutuhkan teknologi pengidentifikasian yang cepat dan efisien seperti barcode. Penggunaan barcode pada dunia retail sudah banyak dipakai seperti mengidentifikasikan produk untuk mendapatkan informasi. Bisnis retail sangat berkaitan erat dengan tenant dalam menjalankan proses bisnisnya. Tenant memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan produktifitas produk jualnya. Pada supermarket foodmart karawaci terdapat dua sistem tenant yang sedang berjalan yaitu pendataan/absen tenant dan sewa tenant. Setiap tenant datang akan mendata dirinya ke dalam buku absen tenant. Data ini digunakan untuk mengetahui aktivitas yang ada dalam toko. Proses sewa tempat tenant akan terjadi apabila tenant sudah menyelesaikan syarat dan mendapat persetujuan dari supervisor dan store manager. Kedua sistem ini akan digabung secara terkomputerisasi dengan bantuan teknologi barcode sebagai pengidentifikasiannya dan dapat memberikan laporan secara lengkap sehingga informasi yang diperlukan dapat terpenuhi.
