Abstract

Penulisan skripsi ini berjudul “Aplikasi Informasi Museum Studi Kasus di Wilayah Jakarta Timur Berbasis Android” bertujuan untuk memudahkan pengguna aplikasi mendapatkan dan menampilkan informasi museum di Jakarta Timur dengan menarik secara lengkap, akurat, efektif, dan efisien melalui mobile phone dan smartphone berbasis android. Dari metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu observasi langsung, wawancara terstruktur dan studi pustaka, didapatkan data bahwa dibutuhkan suatu media informasi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat& wisatawan tentang informasi museum di wilayah Jakarta Timur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian informasi di museum wilayah Jakarta Timur media yang biasa digunakan setiap museum sejauh ini hanya pameran atau brosur serta ditemukan beberapa hal, yaitu brosur tidak lengkap, tidak menarik, dan kurang informatif. Dan juga tidak dilengkapi dengan gambar yang berwarna.Kondisi ini berdampak pada pelayanan informasi terhadap pengunjung yang tidak informatif, komunikatif dan menarik. Perancangan aplikasi informasi museum sendiri menerapkan unsur – unsur ciri khas dari museum, seperti sejarah singkat dari museum, kejadian-kejadian yang ditampilkan oleh museum itu sendiri lengkap dengan foto-foto serta informasi lain seperti harga tiket, alamat, jam operasional, dan berita yang berhubungan dengan museum. Diharapkan perancangan ini dapat membantu pihak museum dalam mewujudkan meningkatkan media informasi yang ada. . Kata kunci : Koleksi, Museum,Informasi, Android, Smartphone, This thesis "Application Information Museum Case Studies in the area of East Jakarta-based Android" aims to make it easy for users to get application and displaying the museum information in the city of East Jakarta by pulling in a complete, accurate, effective, and efficient via mobile phone and android-based Smartphones. Of the research methods used in collecting data direct observation, structured interviews and literature study, obtained the data that we need a proper media information to increase public knowledge about museum information and travelers in East Jakarta. Based on the results of research information in the museum area of East Jakarta media used so far only every museum exhibit or a brochure and found a few things, namely brochures incomplete, unattractive, and less informative. And also not equipped with a color image. These conditions have an impact on information services to visitors who are not informative, communicative and interesting. The design of the museum itself implement application information elements - elements characteristic of the museum, such as a brief history of the museum, the events displayed by the museum itself complete with photographs and other information such as ticket prices, address, hours of operation, and related news the museum.
