Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi yang ada saat ini terutama berkaitan dengan berkembangnya dunia internet telah memunculkan paradigma – paradigma baru dalam melakukan pekerjaan. Apabila dahulu penggunaan sistem informasi terbatas pada PC yang sulit dibawa kemana – mana ataupun pada laptop yang meskipun mudah dibawa kemana – mana namun masih merepotkan, kini penggunaan teknologi informasi sudah dapat digunakan pada sebuah telepon genggam atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Smartphone. Fenomena kemajuan teknologi smartphone saat ini yang sudah bisa membawa fungsionalitas yang terdapat pada sebuah PC atau laptop telah memunculkan tren baru dalam bekerja. Tren BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), yaitu membawa perangkat mobile / smartphone milik sendiri untuk melakukan pekerjaan kantor telah merubah cara kerja suatu perusahaan dan tentu saja memiliki sistem informasi tersendiri yang dikhususkan dapat berjalan pada platform tersebut. Hal ini yang melatar belakangi penulis untuk membuat penulisan yang berjudul “SISTEM INFORMASI MONITORING PROJECT BERBASIS MOBILE PADA PERUSAHAAN FREIGHT FORWARDING PT LIGA ADHI BUANA”. Tujuan dari pembuatan sistem ini adalah untuk memudahkan pihak manajemen dan pelaksana proyek untuk memonitoring dan melakukan pembaharuan data terkait proyek langsung dari perangkat telepon pintar milik mereka. Advances in information technology that exists today is primarily concerned with the development of the Internet world has led to a paradigm - a new paradigm of doing the job. If the first use of the system is limited to information that is difficult to carry around a PC - where , or on a laptop that although it is easy to carry around - which however is still troublesome , now the use of information technology can already be used on a mobile phone or better known as smartphones . The phenomenon of today's smartphone technology advances that have been able to bring functionality found on a PC or laptop has given rise to a new trend in the work. Trend of BYOD ( Bring Your Own Device ) , which carries a mobile device / smartphone belongs alone to do the work of the office has changed the workings of a company and of course has its own information system dedicated to run on that platform . This is the background for the author to make the writing entitled "INFORMATION SYSTEM BASED MOBILE MONITORING PROJECT IN FREIGHT FORWARDING PT ADHI BUANA LIGA". The objective of this system is to facilitate the management and project implementers to monitor and update project related data directly from their smart phone devices belong.
