Abstract

Di era yang serba terkomputerisasi seperti sekarang ini, dunia pendidikan memerlukan pengembangan sistem untuk membantu proses pendidikan maka perlu dibuatkan suatu sistem. Sistem Informasi Akademik adalah suatu sistem yang dirancang untuk keperluan pengeloaan data-data Akademik dengan penerapan teknologi komputer baik perangkat keras (hardware) maupun perangkat lunak (software). Sistem informasi akademik Universitas Mercu Buana atau bisa disebut SIA UMB adalah sebuah perangkat lunak yang mengolah dan menyajikan data-data akademik berbasis web. Sistem informasi akademik terutama modul pendaftaran mahasiswa baru dirancang untuk mengolah dan menyajikan data proses pendaftaran mahasiswa baru yang pada saat ini masih mengunakan cara manual. Proses pendaftaran mahasiswa baru meliputi penginputan data calon mahasiswa, pengesahan pembayaran, dan verifikasi calon mahasiswa. Sistem Informasi Akademik modul pendaftaran mahasiswa baru ini diharapkan dapat memudahkan calon mahasiswa, BAK (Biro Administrasi Keuangan), BAA (Biro Administrasi Akademik) dalam proses pendaftaran mahasiswa baru. Kata Kunci : SIA, Pendaftaran, Mahasiswa In paced computerized era , as now, the world of education requires the development of a system to assist the education process so it need a system . Academic Information System is a system designed for the purposes of management of academic data with the application of computer technology both hardware and software. Academic Information System Mercu Buana University or can be called SIA UMB is a software process and present the data in a web based academic. Academic information systems, especially new student registration module is designed to process and present data registration process for new students who are currently still using the manual method . New student registration process includes inputting the data of prospective students , payment validation , and verification of prospective students . Academic Information System module registration for new students is expected to facilitate prospective students, BAK (Biro Administrasi Keuangan), BAA (Biro Administrasi Akademik) in the new student registration process.
