Abstract
Today, a number of government agencies and private ownership is no exception electronics repair business has been utilizing computer technology as a tool that can automate electronic timely and accurate. PT. Star Technical Services ( STS ) is a company engaged in the field of electronics repair services , but the system that processed information is still arguably less accurate and there are many problems facing such statements are often incomplete and not timely , the absence of data on inventory tool / part and difficult to obtain information at any time when needed . After observation , the authors analyze the system is running at. Star Technical Services ( STS ) , and designing information systems services repair and inventory of electronic goods in the PT . Star Technical Service that has been computerized , so the data processing can be run quickly , customer demand can be met and preparing reports can be run well , thereby reducing the occurrence of errors . Dewasa ini, sejumlah instansi dengan kepemilikan pemerintah maupun swasta tidak terkecuali usaha perbaikan barang elektronik telah memanfaatkan teknologi computer sebagai alat elektronik yang dapat mengotomatisasi secara tepat waktu dan akurat. PT. Star Technical Service (STS) adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pelayanan jasa perbaikan barang elektronik, namun sistem informasi yang diolah masih dibilang kurang akurat dan banyak terdapat masalah yang dihadapi diantaranya penyajian laporan yang sering kali tidak lengkap dan tidak tepat waktu, tidak adanya data tentang persediaan alat/part dan sulit memperoleh informasi bila sewaktu waktu diperlukan. Setelah melakukan observasi, penulis menganalisis system yang sedang berjalan pada PT. Star Technical Service (STS) , dan merancang sistem informasi jasa perbaikan barang dan persediaan barang elektronik pada PT. Star Technical Service yang sudah terkomputerisasi, sehingga proses pengolahan data dapat berjalan dengan cepat, permintaan pelanggan dapat segera terpenuhi dan pembuatan laporan dapat berjalan dengan baik sehingga mengurangi terjadinya kesalahan.
