Abstract
Every company, whether engaged in the services sector, trade and industry certainly have the assets to run the daily operations. Fixed assets are corporate assets useful life of more than one accounting period of normal (usually over one year of use) and the subject of management quality by considering its use, as well as depreciation (depreciation). As a tool that can support the activities of company assets usually have a long lifespan, so it can be expected to benefit the company for years. However, given the benefits of fixed assets in general has declined because of depreciation of fixed assets experience. Depreciation is usually recorded at the end of the year as the financial statements on the balance sheet. The increasing amount of fixed asset in PT. Bank Panin, Tbk, its requires a good system for depreciation calculation. Accounting systems that are running currently still using MS. Excel, so as to be a constraint for data collection to managed in real-time for reporting purposes. With a web based fixed assets appliaction in PT. Bank Panin, Tbk, is expected to accelerate the calculation the depreciation of fixed assets. Since the proposed system has provided the database for the accuracy of the data assets. Keywords : Fixed Assets, Depreciation, Waterfall Model, Object Oriented Design, UML Setiap perusahaan, baik bergerak dalam bidang jasa, perdagangan maupun industri pasti memiliki aktiva tetap untuk menjalankan kegiatan operasional setiap harinya. Aktiva tetap merupakan harta perusahaan yang masa penggunaannya lebih dari satu periode normal akuntansi (biasanya di atas satu tahun penggunaan) dan menjadi subjek manajemen dengan mempertimbangkan kualitas dengan cara pemakaiannya, demikian juga dengan penyusutan (depresiasi). Sebagai alat yang dapat mendukung suatu kegiatan perusahaan aktiva tetap biasanya memiliki masa pemakaian yang lama, sehingga bisa diharapkan dapat memberi manfaat bagi perusahaan selama bertahun-tahun. Namun demikian, manfaat yang diberikan aktiva tetap pada umumnya semakin menurun karena aktiva tetap mengalami penyusutan. Penyusutan ini biasanya dicatat pada akhir tahun sebagai laporan keuangan di neraca. Semakin bertambahnya jumlah aktiva tetap di PT. Bank Panin, Tbk menuntut adanya sistem penghitungan penyusutan yang baik. Sistem penghitungan yang sedang berjalan saat ini masih menggunakan Ms. Excel sehingga untuk pendataannya menjadi kendala untuk dikelola secara real-time untuk keperluan pelaporan. Dengan aplikasi aktiva tetap berbasis web di Panin Bank diharapkan akan mempercepat penghitungan penyusutan aktiva tetap. Karena dalam sistem yang diajukan sudah disediakan database untuk keakuratan data aktiva tetap. Kata kunci: Aktiva Tetap, Penyusustan, Waterfall model, Perancangan Berorientasi Objek, UML
