Abstract

PT. Mataram Sakti adalah salah satu perusahaan yang terletak Jl. Moh. Toha KM 6 No. 1 Kampung Cadas Kecamatan Periuk Tangerang., merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang berkonsentrasi pada bisnis penjualan sepeda motor. Perusahaan ini merupakan dealer dan bengkel resmi sepeda motor bermerk dagang Yamaha. Dalam perkembangannya yang pesat maka perusahaan ini membutuhkan sistem informasi penjualan kredit yang terkomputerisasi dalam pengolahan datanya. Proses pengolahan data yang masih menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel, mengakibatkan pembuatan laporan menjadi tidak efisien dan memakan banyak waktu, serta menimbulkan kesulitan jika semakin meningkatnya transaksi yang akan terjadi didepannya. Penulisan skripsi ini bertujuan untuk merancang suatu sistem informasi penjualan yang menggunakan komputer dalam setiap aktivitas yang dilakukan di dalam sistem (terkomputerisasi). Dengan adanya sistem terkomputerisasi diharapkan mampu untuk meningkatkan kualitas informasi yang dihasilkan seperti kecepatan dan ketepatan waktu, memelihara integritas data dan mempermudah pengorganisasian data, meringankan beban kerja pegawai dan sekaligus mengurangi tingkat kesalahan pemrosesan data. Aplikasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP (Personal Home Page) dan MySQL sebagai database-nya. PT. Mataram Sakti Motors is one company that is located in Jl Moh. Toha KM. 6 No.1 rock village districts pot Tangerang, is a company that concentrates on the business of selling motorcycles. The company is an authorized dealer and repair Yamaha motorcycles branded trade. In the rapid development these companies need information systems are computerized credit sales in data processing. Data processing are still using Microsoft Excel application, resulting in making the report to be inefficient and time-consuming, and cause difficulties if the increasing transaction will occur in front. Writing this thesis aims to design an information system that uses computer sales in all activities undertaken in the system (computerized). With the computerized system should be able to improve the quality of the resulting information like speed and punctuality, maintaining data integrity and ease of organizing data, easing the workload of employees and reducing the error rate of data processing. This application uses the programming language PHP ( Personal Home Page) and MySQL as its database.
