Abstract
This study aims to create a smart dormitory system using a website to solve problems caused by differences in personality and preferences among dorm residents, as well as to address the limitations of manual administrative management. The system was developed using the Agile method, which involves an iterative approach with stages like requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The RoomMatch feature uses the K-Means Clustering algorithm to group 238 students into three clusters based on characteristics like cleanliness, study habits, sleep patterns, social level, tolerance to noise, and preference for guests. This helps create more objective recommendations for roommate pairs. In addition, the Permission feature uses a Rule-Based System to automate the decision-making process for student permit applications through a validation mechanism based on predefined rules, along with centralized audit log recording. The implementation results show that the K-Means Clustering algorithm successfully created three clusters with a Silhouette Score of 0.6. Meanwhile, the Rule-Based System was able to consistently validate and process permit applications according to the rules in place. The results of the Black Box Testing show that all system functions are working as per the functional requirements that were set. Therefore, the proposed system can assist with matching roommates and managing dorm administration in a more effective, organized, and efficient way. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sistem asrama pintar menggunakan sistem berbasis website untuk mengatasi masalah yang terjadi akibat perbedaan kepribadian dan preferensi di antara penghuni asrama, serta mengatasi keterbatasan pengelolaan administratif secara manual. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode Agile, yang melibatkan pendekatan berulang dengan tahapan-tahapan seperti analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Fitur RoomMatch menggunakan algoritma K-Means Clustering untuk mengelompokkan 238 mahasiswa ke dalam tiga kluster berdasarkan karakteristik seperti kebersihan, kebiasaan belajar, pola tidur, tingkat keramahan, toleransi terhadap kebisingan, dan preferensi terhadap tamu. Hal ini membantu menghasilkan rekomendasi yang lebih objektif untuk pasangan teman sekamar. Selain itu, fitur Permission menggunakan Sistem Berbasis Aturan untuk mengotomatiskan proses Pengambilan Keputusan terkait permohonan izin mahasiswa melalui mekanisme validasi berdasarkan aturan yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya, disertai dengan pencatatan log audit terpusat. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa algoritma K-Means Clustering berhasil membentuk tiga kluster dengan Skor Silhouette sebesar 0,6. Sementara itu, Sistem Berbasis Aturan mampu secara konsisten memvalidasi dan memproses permohonan izin sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku. Hasil Pengujian Blackbox menunjukkan bahwa semua fungsi sistem bekerja sesuai dengan persyaratan fungsional yang ditetapkan. Dengan demikian, sistem yang dikembangkan ini dapat membantu dalam mencocokkan teman sekamar dan mengelola administrasi asrama dengan cara yang lebih efektif, terorganisir, dan efisien.
