Abstract
Global urbanization and the increasing impact of climate change have posed serious challenges to the quality of the built environment, particularly in educational spaces. Issues such as declining air quality, limited green space, and increased stress and mental health disorders in children have become global issues that require solutions through a sustainable design approach. This design method uses the design process stages according to Killmer (interior design) with a biophilic concept approach as an innovative strategy that connects humans with nature through interior space elements to improve health, comfort, and learning effectiveness. The data collection techniques used include location observation, interviews, and literature studies. This design aims to design the interior of Bintaro Nature School by applying biophilic principles in response to these global issues. The design results are expected to create a healthy, contextual, and sustainable learning space, while supporting Bintaro Nature School's vision of building environmental awareness among the younger generation.
