Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi penerapan metode pengendalian persediaan kuantitatif untuk Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) di PT XYZ, di mana pola pengadaan masih bersifat reaktif dan umumnya didasarkan pada estimasi proyek, sehingga sering menimbulkan risiko overstock maupun stockout. Populasi penelitian mencakup 42 jenis APD yang digunakan pada proyek konstruksi tahun 2024, dengan kategori A dipilih melalui analisis ABC. Data sekunder diperoleh dari laporan pengadaan dan penggunaan perusahaan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Reorder Point (ROP), dan Safety Stock. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan EOQ mampu menyeimbangkan biaya pemesanan dan penyimpanan, seperti Disposable Mask KN95 dengan EOQ 198 unit delapan kali pemesanan per tahun dengan total biaya Rp2.274.864, serta Full Body Harness dengan EOQ 20 unit tujuh kali pemesanan per tahun dengan biaya Rp2.015.000. ROP menetapkan titik pemesanan ulang secara akurat, misalnya pada KN95 sebesar 63 unit, sedangkan Safety Stock menjamin ketersediaan selama fluktuasi permintaan, dengan cadangan terbesar 548 unit. Penerapan metode ini menurunkan total biaya persediaan, meminimalkan risiko kekurangan atau kelebihan stok, meningkatkan efisiensi logistik, serta mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya SDG 3, SDG 8, dan SDG 12. This study evaluates the application of quantitative inventory control methods for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at PT XYZ, where procurement is still reactive and mainly based on project estimations, often leading to overstock or stockout. The research covered 42 types of PPE used in 2024 construction projects, with category A items selected through ABC analysis. Data from procurement and usage reports were analyzed using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Reorder Point (ROP), and Safety Stock methods. The results show that EOQ effectively balances ordering and holding costs, such as Disposable Mask KN95 with an EOQ of 198 units requiring eight orders per year at a total cost of Rp2,274,864, and Full Body Harness with an EOQ of 20 units and seven orders per year costing Rp2,015,000. ROP sets accurate reorder levels, exemplified by KN95 with 63 units, while Safety Stock ensures availability during demand fluctuations, with the highest buffer recorded at 548 units. These findings confirm that each PPE requires a tailored procurement strategy to maintain efficiency and availability. The implementation reduces inventory costs, minimizes risks of shortage or surplus, improves logistics efficiency, and contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3, SDG 8, and SDG 12.
