Abstract
This study analyzes productivity improvement strategies on the Headliner car production line in the automotive industry, as a response to intense competition due to the growth of automotive companies in Indonesia. The main problem identified is the low value (OEE) in 2024, averaging 56.9%, far below the World-Class OEE standard of 85%. To identify the root cause, this study uses the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology approach. The Analyze phase systematically analyzes the causes of downtime using Pareto Charts and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), which are then followed by Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) analysis. As a solution, the Improve phase implements a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program, specifically Autonomous Maintenance (AM-TPM), supported by employee training. In the Control phase, an Automated OEE Monitoring Dashboard system was developed for real-time monitoring and continuous improvement. The results of this study show that after the improvements, the average OEE value increased to 79.9% from 56.9% within four months. A significant increase occurred in Availability which increased from 80.0% to 97.6% Performance increased from 75.9% to 84.4% and Quality from 92.8% to 97.1%. Keywords: DMAIC, FMEA, TPM, Productivity, OEE, Automation Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi peningkatan produktivitas pada lini produksi Headliner mobil di industri otomotif, sebagai respons terhadap persaingan yang ketat akibat pertumbuhan perusahaan otomotif di Indonesia. Permasalahan utama yang teridentifikasi adalah rendahnya nilai (OEE)pada tahun 2024 rata-rata sebesar 56,9%, jauh di bawah standar World-Class OEE 85%. Untuk mengidentifikasi akar permasalahan, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metodologi DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Fase Analyze secara sistematis menganalisis penyebab downtime dengan menggunakan Pareto Chart dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD), yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Sebagai solusi, fase Improve menerapkan program Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), khususnya Autonomous Maintenance (AM-TPM), didukung dengan pelatihan karyawan. Pada fase Control, dikembangkan sistem Dashboard Monitoring OEE Otomasi untuk pemantauan real-time dan perbaikan berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah perbaikan, nilai OEE rata-rata meningkat menjadi 79,9% dari 56,9% dalam waktu empat bulan. Kenaikan signifikan terjadi pada Availability yang meningkat dari 80,0% menjadi 97,6% Performance meningkat dari 75,9% menjadi 84,4% dan Quality dari 92,8% menjadi 97,1%.
