Abstract
This visual identity design for the 71st Anniversary logo of the Indonesian Bible Society (Lembaga Alkitab Indonesia) aims to create an annual commemorative logo that strengthens the institution's image while reflecting the spiritual theme of the year, "Divine Word, True Wisdom". Using a design thinking approach, the design process includes data collection, concept development, visual exploration, and user evaluation. The logo incorporates key visual elements such as tree roots and leaves, symbolizing spiritual growth, faith foundation, and divine wisdom rooted in God's Word. The color palette was selected to reflect spiritual meaning and maintain consistency with LAI’s visual identity. The logo is designed to be flexible and applicable across various media and merchandise throughout the anniversary year. User survey results indicate that the logo is perceived to effectively communicate the intended spiritual message and align with the annual theme. Perancangan identitas visual logo HUT ke-71 Lembaga Alkitab Indonesia (LAI) ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan logo perayaan tahunan yang tidak hanya memperkuat citra LAI, tetapi juga merepresentasikan tema rohani tahunan yang diangkat, yaitu “Firman Ilahi, Hikmat Sejati”. Melalui pendekatan design thinking, proses perancangan dimulai dari tahapan pengumpulan data, perumusan konsep, eksplorasi visual, hingga evaluasi oleh pengguna. Logo dirancang menggunakan elemen visual utama berupa akar dan daun pohon, yang melambangkan kekuatan iman, pertumbuhan rohani, dan hikmat sejati yang bersumber dari Firman Tuhan. Warna-warna yang digunakan dipilih berdasarkan makna spiritual dan kesinambungan identitas visual LAI. Logo ini dirancang untuk bersifat fleksibel dan dapat diaplikasikan ke berbagai media komunikasi dan merchandise sepanjang tahun perayaan. Hasil dari survei pengguna menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden merasa logo ini berhasil menyampaikan pesan spiritual dan sesuai dengan tema yang diangkat.
