Abstract
This study aims to design a web-based sales information system at Bunga Padi Rice Factory by applying the User-Centered Design (UCD) method. The main problem faced by the factory is that the sales recording and stock management processes are still conducted manually, which often leads to recording errors and delivery delays. The UCD method was chosen because it emphasizes user involvement at every stage of the design process, from needs identification to design evaluation. The sample consisted of 15 respondents, including the factory owner, employees, and regular customers. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, targeting individuals directly involved in the operational and sales processes. The data analysis method refers to the UCD stages, namely: specify the context of use, specify user and organizational requirements, produce design solutions, and evaluate design against user requirements. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and system evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. Based on the usability testing results, the system achieved a SUS score of 80.2, which falls into the "Acceptable" category. The findings indicate that the system, developed using Google Sites and Google Sheets, successfully meets user needs—particularly in terms of ease of use, accessibility, and work efficiency. Keywords: Information System, Digital Sales System, Rice Factory, User-Centered Design, System Usability Scale (SUS) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi penjualan berbasis website di Pabrik Beras Bunga Padi dengan menerapkan metode User Centered Design (UCD). Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi Pabrik Beras Bunga Padi adalah proses pencatatan penjualan dan pengelolaan stok yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga sering menimbulkan kesalahan pencatatan dan keterlambatan dalam pengiriman. Metode UCD dipilih karena mengedepankan keterlibatan pengguna dalam setiap tahapan perancangan, mulai dari identifikasi kebutuhan hingga evaluasi desain. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 15 responden yang terdiri dari pemilik, karyawan, dan pelanggan tetap pabrik. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dengan mempertimbangkan pihak yang terlibat langsung dalam proses operasional dan penjualan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan mengacu pada tahapan UCD, yaitu specify the context of use, specify user and organizational requirements, produce design solutions, dan evaluate design against user requirements. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan evaluasi sistem menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS). Berdasarkan hasil usability testing, sistem memperoleh skor SUS sebesar 80,2 yang termasuk dalam kategori "Acceptable". Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dirancang dengan platform Google Sites dan Google Sheets berhasil menjawab kebutuhan pengguna, terutama dalam aspek kemudahan penggunaan, aksesibilitas, dan efisiensi kerja.
