Abstract
As the times, population, and global culture in Indonesia develop, the interaction between the community and pets is also growing. From the aspect of the number of pet owners, there are several studies that state that dogs are animals with a low level of care in Indonesia compared to other animals. Pet centers as a one-stop service that accommodates the needs of animal owners and pets are one of the supporting factors for visitor interest in animal care. In addition to the need for more pet center construction, interior design also plays an important role in pet center buildings because it is a factor in attracting visitors to the sustainability of the pet center. The Dogs Ministry pet center as a one-stop pet center located in Penjaringan, North Jakarta, has an important role in providing the needs of animal owners and pets, especially dogs. The purpose of the interior design of the Dogs Ministry pet center is to create a functional, aesthetic space that can support the sustainability of the Dogs Ministry pet center, one of which is to increase visitor interest in dog care. The design method uses the Biophilic Design approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, literature studies, and documentation as well as data analysis. The style concept applied in this design is a modern style with the theme "Modern Biomorphic With Feel Like Home Spaces" by providing elements of local wisdom taken from the identity of the location of the Dogs Ministry Pet center, namely the City of Jakarta. The interior design of the Dogs Ministry pet center is expected to meet the comfort and needs of users as well as its potential to contribute to the health and well-being of the space's users. Keyword: Pet Center, Dogs, Interior Design, Modern, Biophilic. Seiring berkembangnya zaman, populasi, dan budaya global di Indonesia, interaksi antara Masyarakat dengan hewan peliharaan juga semakin berkembang. Dari aspek jumlah kepemilikan hewan, ada beberapa riset yang menyatakan bahwa anjing merupakan hewan dengan tingkat pemeliharaan yang masih rendah di Indonesia di bandingkan hewan lainnya. Pet center sebagai one stop service yang mewadahi kebutuhan pemilik hewan dan hewan peliharaan menjadi salah satu faktor pendukung minat pengunjung terhadap pemeliharaan hewan. Selain dibutuhkan lebih banyaknya pembangunan pet center, desain interior juga berperan penting pada bangunan pet center karena menjadi faktor daya tarik dan minat pengunjung terhadap keberlangsungan pet center tersebut. Pet center Dogs Ministry sebagai one stop pet center yang berlokasi di Penjaringan Jakarta Utara, memiliki peran penting dalam menyediakan kebutuhan pemilik hewan dan hewan peliharaan khususnya anjing. Tujuan perancangan interior pet center Dogs Ministry adalah menciptakan ruang yang fungsional, estetis, dan dapat mendukung keberlangsungan pet center Dogs Ministry, salah satunya memperbesar minat pengunjung dalam pemeliharaan anjing. Metode perancangan menggunakan pendekatan Biophilic Design dengan Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, studi literatur, dan dokumentasi serta analisa data. Konsep gaya yang diterapkan pada perancangan ini adalah gaya modern bertema “Modern Biomorphic With Feel Like Home Spaces” dengan memberikan unsur kearifan lokal yang diambil dari identitas lokasi Pet center Dogs Ministry yaitu Kota Jakarta. Perancangan interior pet center Dogs Ministry ini diharapkan dapat memenuhi kenyamanan dan kebutuhan pengguna serta potensinya untuk berkontribusi bagi kesehatan dan kesejahteraan pengguna ruang. Kata kunci: Pet Center, Anjing, Desain Interior, Modern, Biophilic.
