Abstract
Digital transformation has altered donation practices among Catholics in the Archdiocese of Jakarta. This study analyzes the factors influencing digital donation behavior intention by integrating social capital theory, religiosity, and the technology acceptance model. A quantitative approach using a survey was employed, involving 357 Catholic respondents aged 18 and above, who actively attend Mass and have transacted using QRIS. The research examined factors such as trust, norm, network, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness, with attitude as a mediator and religiosity as a moderator. The findings indicate that attitude, perceived usefulness, network, and trust significantly influence digital donation behavior intention directly, while norm, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness exert an indirect influence through attitude. Notably, religiosity did not moderate attitude. The novelty of this study lies in testing a comprehensive model that simultaneously integrates social capital theory, religiosity, and the technology acceptance model in understanding digital donation intention, addressing gaps in previous research that often considered these factors separately and were rarely explored in the context of the Catholic Church. This study contributes theoretically by integrating social capital, technology acceptance, attitudes, and religiosity within the realm of digital donation behavior intentions in the Catholic Church. It also offers managerial implications for the Archdiocese of Jakarta to enhance digital donation behavior intentions through the “Si JAMPaNG” model (Sikap, Jejaring, Aksesibilitas, Manfaat, Percaya, Norma, Gereja Ramah Digital). The study's limitations suggest opportunities for future research to explore additional variables across different contexts and methodologies. Transformasi digital telah mengubah cara umat Katolik berdonasi di Gereja Katolik Keuskupan Agung Jakarta. Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat perilaku donasi digital (digital donation behavior intention) dengan mengintegrasikan teori modal sosial, religiositas, dan technology acceptance model. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei digunakan, melibatkan 357 responden umat Katolik di Keuskupan Agung Jakarta yang berusia minimum 18 tahun, aktif menghadiri misa, dan pernah bertransaksi menggunakan QRIS. Faktor trust, norm, network, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, dengan attitude sebagai mediator, dan religiosity sebagai moderator digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Attitude ditemukan memiliki pengaruh langsung signifikan terbesar terhadap digital donation behavior intention, berikutnya adalah perceived usefulness, network, dan trust. Norm, perceived ease of use, dan perceived usefulness memengaruhi tidak langsung digital donation behavior intention melalui mediasi attitude. Religiosity tidak ditemukan memoderasi attitude. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pengujian model komprehensif yang mengintegrasikan teori modal sosial, religiositas, dan technology acceptance model secara bersamaan dalam memengaruhi niat berdonasi digital, mengisi kesenjangan penelitian sebelumnya yang cenderung mengkaji faktor-faktor tersebut secara terpisah dan jarang ditemukan dalam Gereja Katolik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dengan mengintegrasikan faktor modal sosial, penerimaan teknologi, sikap, dan religiositas dalam niat perilaku donasi digital di lingkungan Gereja Katolik. Kontribusi manajerial bagi Gereja Katolik Keuskupan Agung Jakarta untuk meningkatkan niat berdonasi digital ditunjukkan dalam model “Si JAMPaNG” (Sikap, Jejaring, Aksesibilitas, Manfaat, Percaya, Norma dan Gereja Ramah Digital). Keterbatasan penelitian ini membuka peluang bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk menguji variabel lain dalam konteks segmen dan waktu berbeda atau menggunakan metode penelitian lain.
