Abstract
This study aims to identify potential hazards, analyze risk levels, and develop work accident control strategies in the Multimedia Nusantara School Building construction project, particularly in column structure work. The methods used are JSA and HIRARC. JSA is used to outline work stages and identify potential hazards, and HIRARC is used to assess the likelihood and impact of risks, and classify their risk levels. The analysis results show that there are 8 work activities included in the high-risk category, such as the risk of workers being trapped, impaled, crushed by materials, and falling from a height. The highest probability value was recorded at 64.2%, with a maximum impact level on a scale of 4. Of the 24 risks analyzed, 8 of them are classified as high risk with a risk score above 10. Validity tests were conducted to ensure the feasibility of the instrument. Of the 26 statements for each variable (likelihood and impact), 25 statements were declared valid for the impact variable and all statements were valid for the possibility variable. Risk control strategies are structured based on the Hierarchy of Control, starting from elimination and substitution, technical (engineering) controls, administrative (SOPs, training, supervision), to the use of PPE as the final layer of protection. The application of the JSA and HIRARC methods has proven effective in identifying risks and developing appropriate mitigation measures. With consistent application, these methods support the achievement of optimal work safety and project smoothness. Keywords: construction safety, JSA, HIRARC, work risk, column structure Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya, menganalisis tingkat risiko, dan menyusun strategi pengendalian kecelakaan kerja pada proyek pembangunan Gedung Multimedia Nusantara School, khususnya pada pekerjaan struktur kolom. Metode yang digunakan adalah JSA dan HIRARC. JSA digunakan untuk menguraikan tahapan kerja dan mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya, serta HIRARC digunakan untuk menilai kemungkinan dan dampak risiko, serta mengklasifikasikan tingkat risikonya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 8 aktivitas kerja yang termasuk dalam kategori risiko tinggi, seperti risiko pekerja terjepit, tertusuk, tertimpa material, hingga jatuh dari ketinggian. Nilai kemungkinan tertinggi tercatat sebesar 64,2%, dengan tingkat dampak maksimal pada skala 4. Dari 24 risiko yang dianalisis, 8 di antaranya tergolong high risk dengan skor risiko di atas 10. Uji validitas dilakukan untuk memastikan kelayakan instrumen. Dari 26 pernyataan untuk masing-masing variabel (kemungkinan dan dampak), 25 pernyataan dinyatakan valid untuk variabel dampak dan seluruh pernyataan valid untuk variabel kemungkinan. Strategi pengendalian risiko disusun berdasarkan Hierarchy of Control, mulai dari eliminasi dan substitusi, pengendalian teknis (engineering), administratif (SOP, pelatihan, pengawasan), hingga penggunaan APD sebagai lapisan perlindungan terakhir.Penerapan metode JSA dan HIRARC terbukti efektif dalam mengidentifikasi risiko dan menyusun langkah mitigasi yang tepat. Dengan penerapan yang konsisten, metode ini mendukung tercapainya keselamatan kerja dan kelancaran proyek secara optimal. Kata kunci: K3 konstruksi, JSA, HIRARC, risiko kerja, struktur kolom.
