Abstract

Risk is the possibility or uncertainty of an unexpected event occurring while carrying out work that could harm the party carrying out the activity. In carrying out activities, one of the risks that may arise is the risk of work accidents. Work accidents can occur in all areas of work, one of which is the construction sector. Work accidents in the construction sector are actually the result of risk mitigation that is not well targeted in dealing with the risk of work accidents. Work accidents can be caused by several main factors, namely environmental conditions, work equipment, and the workers themselves. In the Mandiri IT Building Construction project which is a High Rise Building project, therefore high rise building work requires thorough Occupational Safety and Health (K3) planning, Occupational Safety and Health (K3) risk control is very necessary to prevent work accidents so that there is no more work accident rate (zero accident). In this study, the HIRARC method was used, this method is a series of hazard identification processes in routine and non-routine activities. HIRARC is an effort to prevent and reduce the potential for work accidents, avoid and minimize risks that occur appropriately by avoiding and minimizing the risk of work accidents and controlling them in order to carry out activity processes so that the process becomes safe. Hazard identification, risk assessment and control are part of the risk management system which is the basis of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3). Keywords: Workplace accident, human error, risk, building construction, HIRARAC Risko merupakan kemungkinan atau ketidakpastian terjadinya suatu peristiwa yang tidak diharapakan ketika sedang melakukan pekerjaan yang dapat merugikan pihak yang sedang melakukan kegiatan tersebut. Dalam berkegiatan salah satu risiko yang mungkin muncul adalah risiko kecelakaan kerja, kecelakaan kerja dapat terjadi dalam semua bidang pekerjaan, salah satunya adalah bidang konstruksi. Kecelakaan kerja dalam bidang konstruksi sesungguhnya adalah hasil dari mitigasi risiko yang kurang tepat sasaran dalam menangani risiko kecelakaan kerja. Kecelakaan kerja dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor utama yaitu faktor kondisi lingkungan, peralatan pekerjaan, dan pekerja itu sendiri. Pada proyek Pembangunan Gedung IT Mandiri yang merupakan proyek gedung bertingkat tinggi, maka dari itu pada pekerjaan Gedung Bertingkat Tinggi dibutuhkan perencanaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) yang matang, Pengendalian risiko Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) sangat diperlukan untuk mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja sehingga tidak ada lagi tingkat kecelakaan kerja (zero accident). Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode HIRARC, metode ini merupakan rangkaian proses identifikasi bahaya dalam aktivitas rutin dan non rutin. HIRARC adalah usaha pencegahan dan pengurangan potensi terjadinya kecelakaan kerja, menghindari dan meminimalkan risiko yang terjadi secara tepat dengan cara menghindari dan meminimalkan risiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja serta pengendaliannya dalam rangka melakukan proses kegiatan sehingga prosesnya menjadi aman. Identifikasi bahaya, penilaian risiko dan pengendaliannya merupakan bagian sistem manajemen risiko yang merupakan dasar dari Sistem Manajemen Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (SMK3).
