Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between father attachment and resilience in high school students throughout Jakarta. Father attachment is defined as the emotional relationship between the child and the father. Resilience is defined as an individual's ability to face, overcome, and rise from difficult situations. This study used quantitative methods with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 303 high school students in Jakarta aged 15-18 years, who were selected using Convenience Sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using google form. Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson correlation test to see the relationship between variables. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between father attachment and resilience in high school students in Jakarta (r = 0.435, p < 0.001). The conclusion of this study is that good attachment with fathers contributes to increasing adolescent resilience, so father's involvement in children's psychological development is very important. Keywords: Father Attachment, Resilience, High School Students Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kelekatan ayah dengan resiliensi pada siswa SMA se – Jakarta. Kelekatan ayah didefinisikan sebagai hubungan emosional antara anak dan ayah. Resiliensi didefinisikan sebagai kemampuan individu dalam menghadapi, mengatasi, dan bangkit dari situasi sulit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 303 siswa SMA di Jakarta yang berusia 15-18 tahun, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Convenience Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan google form. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kelekatan ayah dengan resiliensi pada siswa SMA se – Jakarta (r = 0,435, p < 0,001). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kelekatan yang baik dengan ayah berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan resiliensi remaja, sehingga keterlibatan ayah dalam perkembangan psikologis anak sangat penting.
