Abstract
Sejahtera Jaya Teknik is a service industry for making vehicle and tool components through the turning process. As a company that has many product specifications with various diameters, the company is required to always meet consumer demand in a timely manner. There is no measurable standard of machine effectiveness so this research was conducted. The Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method is used as a calculation to determine how much the machine’s effectiveness value is. This research succeeded in getting the effectiveness value of the lathe from July to December 2024 with an OEE value of 71,68% in October and 83,83% in December which has not yet reached the OEE international standard. Six Big Losses analysis was continued to find out the highest losses factor of 4,04% due to the delay in providing lubricant to the bearing which resulted in the machine being off for 13 hours. The proposed improvements to be made focus on the care and maintenance of machine described using 5W+1H which is expected to facilitate the company’s evaluation in the future. Keywords: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Six Big Losses, Effectiveness of Lathe Machine Perusahaan bubut Sejahtera Jaya Teknik merupakan industri jasa pembuatan komponen kendaraan maupun alat melalui proses pembubutan. Sebagai perusahaan yang memiliki banyak spesifikasi produk dengan diameter yang beragam, perusahaan dituntut untuk selalu memenuhi permintaan konsumen dengan tepat waktu. Belum adanya standar efektivitas mesin yang terukur sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan. Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) digunakan sebagai perhitungan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar nilai efektivitas mesin. Penelitian ini berhasil mendapatkan nilai efektivitas mesin bubut bulan Juli - Desember 2024 dengan nilai OEE bulan Oktober 71,68% dan Desember 83,83% yang belum mencapai standar internasional OEE. Analisis Six Big Losses dilanjutkan untuk mengetahui faktor losses tertinggi mesin bubut. Losses terbesar terdapat pada faktor breakdown 4,04% akibat terlambatnya memberikan pelumas pada bearing yang mengakibatkan mesin off selama 13 jam. Usulan perbaikan yang akan dilakukan berfokus pada perawatan dan pemeliharaan mesin yang diuraikan menggunakan 5W+1H yang diharapkan mampu mempermudah evaluasi perusahaan dimasa mendatang.
