Abstract
This motion graphic video design project for BAR Motor, a BMW specialist workshop in Bekasi, aims to enhance visual appeal and marketing communication effectiveness through a video that integrates motion graphic elements with real-life footage. Based on observations and interviews with the target audience, there is a clear need for delivering clear messages, attractive visuals, and appropriately targeted content distribution. The design process focuses on visual communication with an emphasis on color, typography, motion graphic animation, and narration that strengthen BAR Motor's professional image. The primary medium is a promotional video specifically tailored for Instagram Reels and various other digital platforms. Evaluation was conducted through direct testing with the target audience to measure response and message delivery effectiveness. The evaluation results show increased audience engagement and strengthened BAR Motor’s image as a trusted and professional workshop. This design is expected to serve as a reference for developing effective promotional content in the automotive sector, particularly workshop services. Perancangan video motion graphic untuk BAR Motor, bengkel spesialis BMW di Bekasi, bertujuan meningkatkan daya tarik visual dan efektivitas komunikasi pemasaran melalui video yang menggabungkan elemen motion graphic dengan real-life footage. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara dengan target audiens, teridentifikasi kebutuhan untuk penyajian pesan yang jelas, visual yang menarik, serta distribusi konten yang tepat sasaran. Proses perancangan berfokus pada desain komunikasi visual dengan penekanan pada elemen warna, tipografi, animasi motion graphic, dan narasi yang menguatkan citra profesional BAR Motor. Media utama berupa video promosi yang dirancang khusus untuk platform Instagram Reels serta berbagai media digital lainnya. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui uji coba langsung dengan audiens sasaran untuk mengukur respons serta efektivitas penyampaian pesan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan audiens dan penguatan citra BAR Motor sebagai bengkel terpercaya dan profesional. Rancangan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan pengembangan konten promosi efektif di sektor otomotif, khususnya layanan bengkel.
