Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze the role of attitude as a mediating variable in the influence of perceived behavioral control, subjective norm, religiosity, and trust on the intention to donate cash waqf for a clean water project at the Badan Wakaf Al- Qur'an (BWA . This study involved 248 respondents consisting of individuals who are of productive age, highly educated, and work in the formal sector such as private employees, civil servants, and entrepreneurs, who are considered to have sufficient financial capacity and understanding of the concept of cash waqf. The sample measurement in this study uses Simple Random Sampling technique. The approach used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) 4.0. The results showed that Attitude, Perceived Behavioral Control, and Trust have a positive and significant effect on Intention to Endow money in Clean Water Projects. Subjective Norm and Religiosity do not have a significant direct effect on Intention. However, Attitude is proven to positively and significantly mediate the relationship between Subjective Norm, Religiosity, and Trust on Intention. This finding is expected to be a reference for waqf institutions and related parties in developing more effective communication strategies to encourage cash waqf participation, especially in supporting social projects such as clean water provision.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis Peran Attitude Sebagai Variabel Mediasi Dalam Pengaruh Perceived Behavioral Control, Subjective Norm, Religiosity dan Trust Terhadap Intention Berwakaf Uang Pada Proyek Air Bersih Di Badan Wakaf Al-Quran (BWA). Penelitian ini melibatkan 248 responden yang terdiri dari individu yang berada pada usia produktif, berpendidikan tinggi, serta bekerja di sektor formal seperti pegawai swasta, PNS, dan wirausaha, yang dinilai memiliki kapasitas finansial dan pemahaman yang cukup terhadap konsep wakaf uang. Pengukuran sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS) 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Attitude, Perceived Behavioral Control, dan Trust berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Intention Berwakaf Uang pada Proyek Air Bersih. Subjective Norm dan Religiosity tidak berpengaruh langsung secara signifikan terhadap Intention. Namun, Attitude terbukti secara positif dan signifikan memediasi hubungan Subjective Norm, Religiosity, dan Trust terhadap Intention. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi lembaga wakaf dan pihak terkait dalam menyusun strategi komunikasi yang lebih efektif untuk mendorong partisipasi wakaf uang, khususnya dalam mendukung proyek sosial seperti penyediaan air bersih.
