Abstract

Indonesia is located between three major tectonic plates, namely the Indo-Australian, Eurasian, and Pacific plates, making it a region highly prone to earthquakes. Building structures must be designed to be earthquake-resistant in accordance with SNI 1726:2019. This study evaluates the performance of the SOHO Ginza PIK 2 building structure, which was originally designed for Tangerang, if it were to be constructed in Ambon, which has a higher seismic risk. The analysis was conducted using the pushover method based on ATC-40, employing both global drift and interstory drift approaches. The seismic response spectrum characteristic of the Ambon region are higher (SDS = 0.75; SD1 = 0.63) when compared to Tangerang. Initial analysis showed that displacement in the X direction (86.99 mm) exceeded the allowable limit, while the Y direction remained within acceptable limits. After modifying the column dimensions by widening them by 100 mm, the displacement was significantly reduced. The Global performance evaluation through pushover analysis showed that the structure was at the Immediate Occupancy (IO) to Life Safety (LS) levels. However, the interstory drift evaluation showed that the deformation exceeded the limit on floors 1 - 4, reaching the Collapse Prevention (CP) level. These results indicate that although the structure is globally safe, there is significant local damage, requiring additional retrofitting to ensure the functionality and safety of the building after an erthquake, especially if constructed in high seismic risk areas like Ambon. Keywords : Pushover Analysis, ATC-40, Structural Displacement, SPRMK, Ambon Earthquake Indonesia terletak di antara tiga lempeng tektonik utama, yaitu lempeng Indo-Australia, Eurasia, dan Pasifik, sehingga menjadikan Indonesia sebagai negara yang rawan gempa. Struktur bangunan harus dirancang tahan gempa sesuai SNI 1726:2019. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi kinerja struktur gedung SOHO Ginza PIK 2 yang semula dirancang untuk Tangerang, apabila dibangun di Ambon yang memiliki risiko seismik lebih tinggi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan metode pushover berbasis ATC-40 dengan pendekatan drift global dan interstory drift. Karakter respon spektrum wilayah ambon lebih tinggi (SDS = 0,75; SD1 = 0,63) dibanding Tangerang. Analisis awal menunjukkan simpangan arah X (86,99 mm) melebihi batas izin, sedangkan arah Y masih dalam batas aman. Setelah dilakukan modifikasi kolom dengan pelebaran 100 mm, simpangan menurun signifikan. Evaluasi kinerja global melalui analisis pushover menunjukkan struktur berada pada level Immediate Occupancy (IO) hingga Life Safety (LS). Namun, evaluasi interstory drift menunjukkan deformasi melebihi batas pada lantai 1–4 yang mencapai level Collapse Prevention (CP). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun struktur secara keseluruhan tergolong aman secara global, terdapat kerusakan lokal yang signifikan sehingga diperlukan perkuatan tambahan untuk memastikan kelayakan fungsi dan keamanan bangunan pasca-gempa, khususnya bila dibangun di wilayah dengan risiko seismik tinggi seperti Ambon.
