Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara online help-seeking dengan kesepian pada mahasiswa rantau di Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling jenis accidental, dengan total 167 responden dari populasi mahasiswa rantau di Jakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan Online Help- Seeking Questionnaire (Romanson, 2018) dan UCLA Loneliness Version 3 (Russell, 1996). Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji non parametrik spearman’s rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara online help-seeking dengan kesepian.Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat online help-seeking yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa rantau, semakin besar pula tingkat kesepian yang dialami oleh mahasiswa rantau. This study aims to examine the relationship between online help-seeking and loneliness among university migrant students in Jakarta. The research used a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique applied was non-probability sampling of the accidental type, with a total of 167 respondents from the population of migrant students in Jakarta. The instruments used were the Online Help-Seeking Questionnaire (Romanson, 2018) and the UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 (Russell, 1996). Data were analyzed using the non-parametric Spearman’s Rho correlation test. The results showed a significant positive relationship between online help-seeking and loneliness. This finding indicates that the higher the level of online help-seeking among migrant students, the higher the level of loneliness they tend to experience
