Abstract
Education serves as the primary foundation in facing the rapid changes of the world, particularly in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which is marked by the advancement of information and communication technology. The younger generation is required to be creative, adaptive, and innovative, in line with the growing demand for a skilled workforce in the creative industry and digital economy sectors. Vocational education, especially at the level of Vocational High Schools (SMK), plays a vital role as the forefront in producing human resources who are ready to work and capable of responding to the challenges of the times. Currently, the facilities of Multimedia Vocational High Schools in West Jakarta have not fully supported an ideal learning process. Therefore, it is necessary to design a Multimedia Vocational High School that can provide representative, adaptive, and industry-oriented learning spaces. This design proposes the development of a Multimedia Vocational High School in West Jakarta with a modern architectural approach, emphasizing simplicity of form, space efficiency, and functional flexibility. The building is planned on a 2.3-hectare site with a total of five floors. The design is expected to create a dynamic, contextual, and technology-adaptive learning environment, while also fostering the potential of the younger generation in the field of creative industries. Keywords: Architectural Design, Vocational Senior High School, Multimedia, Modern Architecture Pendidikan merupakan fondasi utama dalam menghadapi perubahan dunia yang pesat, terutama di era Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang ditandai dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Generasi muda dituntut untuk menjadi pribadi yang kreatif, adaptif, dan inovatif, seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan tenaga kerja di sektor industri kreatif dan ekonomi digital. Pendidikan vokasi, khususnya pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), menjadi garda terdepan dalam mencetak sumber daya manusia yang siap pakai dan mampu menjawab tantangan zaman.fasilitas SMK Multimedia di Jakarta Barat saat ini belum sepenuhnya mendukung proses pembelajaran yang ideal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perancangan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Multimedia yang mampu menyediakan ruang belajar yang representatif, adaptif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Perancangan ini menghadirkan SMK Multimedia di Jakarta Barat dengan pendekatan arsitektur modern yang menekankan kesederhanaan bentuk, efisiensi ruang, dan fleksibilitas fungsi. Bangunan dirancang di atas lahan seluas 2,3 hektare dengan total lima lantai Rancangan ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis, kontekstual, dan adaptif terhadap teknologi, serta mendukung perkembangan potensi generasi muda di bidang industri kreatif.
