Abstract

Jakarta, as the capital city of Indonesia, has experienced rapid development in the automotive sector, particularly in motorsport activities such as drag race and drifting. However, the absence of an international-standard racing facility in Indonesia highlights the need for an official circuit that not only accommodates professional drag race and drifting events but also serves as a new motorsport icon for the country. The design of the International Drag Race and Drifting Circuit in Pademangan, North Jakarta, aims to create a racing facility that meets global standards, enabling it to host both national and international championships. Pademangan was selected due to its strategic accessibility and potential to become a hub for automotive sports as well as a new tourism destination in Jakarta. North Jakarta’s Pademangan area holds strategic potential with the support of the automotive industry, such as PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal (IPCC), and its proximity to Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran. The circuit is designed with a Futuristic Architectural Concept that emphasizes innovation, sustainability, and advanced technology, establishing a new landmark in both motorsport and architecture in Indonesia. The design methodology includes literature studies, site analysis, and a design approach based on international motorsport safety standards. The final design is expected to provide a safe and legal racing facility while supporting the growth of the automotive industry and tourism in Indonesia. The presence of this circuit is anticipated to enhance public interest in motorsport, promote the development of the motorsport industry, and serve as a new icon that attracts both national and international automotive enthusiasts, while simultaneously contributing to regional tourism and economic growth. Keywords: Circuit, Drag Race, Drifting, Futuristic Architecture, North Jakarta Jakarta sebagai ibu kota Indonesia memiliki perkembangan pesat dalam dunia otomotif, khususnya dalam olahraga motorsport seperti drag race dan drifting. Namun, tidak adanya fasilitas balap bertaraf internasional di Indonesia Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah sirkuit resmi yang tidak hanya mampu mewadahi kegiatan drag race dan drifting secara profesional, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai ikon motorsport di Indonesia. Perancangan Sirkuit Drag Race dan Drifting Bertaraf Internasional di Pademangan, Jakarta Utara, bertujuan untuk menciptakan fasilitas balap yang sesuai dengan standar global, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk berbagai ajang kejuaraan nasional maupun internasional. Lokasi Pademangan dipilih karena memiliki aksesibilitas yang strategis serta potensi untuk menjadi pusat olahraga otomotif dan destinasi wisata baru di Jakarta. Pademangan, Jakarta Utara, memiliki potensi strategis dengan dukungan industri otomotif, seperti PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal (IPCC) dan kedekatannya dengan Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran. Sirkuit ini dirancang dengan menerapkan konsep arsitektur futuristik, yang mengedepankan inovasi, keberlanjutan, dan teknologi canggih untuk menciptakan ikon baru dalam dunia otomotif dan arsitektur di Indonesia. Metode perancangan meliputi studi literatur, analisis tapak, dan pendekatan desain berbasis standar keselamatan balap internasional. Hasil perancangan diharapkan dapat menyediakan fasilitas balap yang aman, legal, serta mendukung perkembangan industri otomotif dan pariwisata di Indonesia. Dengan adanya sirkuit ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat masyarakat terhadap olahraga otomotif, serta mendorong perkembangan industri motorsport di Indonesia. Sirkuit ini juga diharapkan menjadi ikon baru yang mampu menarik perhatian penggiat otomotif nasional maupun internasional, sekaligus berkontribusi terhadap sektor pariwisata dan ekonomi daerah.
