Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of utilizing granite waste as a substitute for coarse aggregate and stone dust as a substitute for fine aggregate on the characteristics of concrete, particularly compressive strength, water absorption, and density, with the addition of Grolen HP7R+ superplasticizer admixture. The method used is a laboratory experimental approach with a mixture variation of 8% granite waste and 40% stone dust by weight of the aggregates, and superplasticizer dosage variations of 0.8%, 1.0%, 1.2%, and 1.4%. The tests were conducted on cylindrical specimens with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm at the ages of 7, 14, and 28 days. The results showed that at 28 days, the highest compressive strength was found in the V4 mixture (LQD 40%, LG 8%, SP 1.4%) with a value of 37.09 MPa, while the lowest was in normal concrete (BN) at 32.81 MPa. The highest water absorption was also found in V4 at 2.20%, and the lowest in BN at 1.55%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that increasing the dosage of Grolen HP7R+ superplasticizer in concrete mixtures with 8% granite waste and 40% stone dust contributes to an increase in compressive strength, although it also slightly increases water absorption. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan limbah granit sebagai substitusi agregat kasar dan abu batu sebagai substitusi agregat halus terhadap karakteristik beton, khususnya kuat tekan, daya serap air, dan density, dengan penambahan admixture superplastisizer Grolen HP7R+. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental di laboratorium dengan variasi campuran limbah granit sebesar 8% dan abu batu sebesar 40% terhadap berat agregat, serta penambahan superplastisizer dengan variasi dosis 0,8%, 1,0%, 1,2%, dan 1,4%. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap benda uji silinder diameter 15 cm dan tinggi 30 cm dengan umur pengujian 7, 14, dan 28 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada umur 28 hari nilai kuat tekan tertinggi pada beton V4 (LQD 40% LG 8% SP 1,4%) sebesar 37.09 Mpa, dan terendah pada beton BN (beton normal) yaitu sebesar 32.81 Mpa. Hasil nilai daya serap air tertinggi pada beton V4 (LQD 40% LG 8% SP 1,4%) sebesar 2.2%, dan terendah pada beton BN (beton normal) yaitu sebesar 1.55%. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan semakin banyaknya campuran dosis penambahan admixtures superplastisizer Grolen HP7R+ dengan campuran limbah granit 8& sebagai substitusi agregat kasar dan abu batu 4% sebagai substitusi agregat halus maka nilai kuat tekan akan semakin naik.
