Abstract

This casual boots design project aims to create footwear that meets the needs of urban motorcyclists with high mobility, without compromising comfort, aesthetics, and functionality. The boots feature an innovative adaptive hybrid locking system that combines BOA lace technology and a side zipper, allowing users to easily wear and remove the footwear. The primary materials include pull-up cowhide leather, anti-slip rubber soles, and cushioned insoles for ergonomic comfort. The upper design adopts a breathable hybrid structure with hidden ventilation, enabling optimal air circulation while maintaining protection. Visually, the boots carry a casual, masculine, and functional style, making them suitable for both formal and informal settings. The design process follows a data-driven approach based on Indonesian foot anthropometry, user needs analysis, and literature studies on materials and ergonomics. The final product offers protection from heat, impact, and extreme weather, while also supporting an active lifestyle with a modern aesthetic value. These boots are expected to serve as an innovative solution for motorcyclists seeking versatile, safe, and stylish footwear. Perancangan sepatu boots kasual ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan produk alas kaki yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pengendara motor urban dengan mobilitas tinggi, tanpa mengabaikan aspek kenyamanan, estetika, dan fungsionalitas. Sepatu ini dirancang dengan inovasi sistem pengunci hybrid adaptif yang menggabungkan teknologi BOA lace dan resleting samping, sehingga memudahkan proses pemakaian dan pelepasan. Material utama yang digunakan meliputi kulit sapi pull-up, sol karet tahan slip, serta bantalan dalam untuk kenyamanan ergonomis. Desain upper mengadopsi prinsip breathable hybrid dengan ventilasi tersembunyi, yang memungkinkan sirkulasi udara optimal tanpa mengurangi proteksi. Dari segi visual, sepatu mengusung gaya kasual, maskulin, dan fungsional agar tetap relevan digunakan dalam konteks formal maupun nonformal. Proses perancangan mengikuti pendekatan berbasis data antropometri kaki Indonesia, analisis kebutuhan pengguna, dan studi literatur terkait material serta ergonomi. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa produk ini tidak hanya mampu memberikan perlindungan terhadap panas, benturan, dan cuaca ekstrem, tetapi juga menunjang gaya hidup aktif dengan nilai estetika modern. Sepatu ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi inovatif bagi pengendara motor yang membutuhkan alas kaki serbaguna, aman, dan bergaya.
