Abstract

With the growing awareness of a healthy lifestyle, many individuals are adopting structured meal plans or diets. However, they often encounter challenges in packing their meals, as commercially available lunch boxes typically feature fixed compartments and standard sizes. This lack of flexibility is unsuitable for the varying portion needs of a daily diet plan, often compelling users to carry multiple, separate containers, which is impractical and cumbersome. This research aims to design a "Modular Lunch Box" for users with structured meal plans. The core of this design is its modular functionality, which allows compartments to be added, removed, or reconfigured to precisely match the user's daily menu. This project focuses on creating a food container that is flexible, supports portion control, and promotes sustainability and ergonomics. The final product is a functional and personalized lunch box system that encourages a healthy and sustainable lifestyle through an innovative, modular design. Keywords: Lunch Box, Product Design, Modular, Personalization, Sustainability Seiring dengan meningkatnya kesadaran akan pentingnya gaya hidup sehat, banyak individu yang menerapkan rencana makan terstruktur atau diet. Namun, mereka sering menghadapi kesulitan dalam membawa bekal karena kotak makan yang ada di pasaran memiliki kompartemen tetap dan ukuran baku, sehingga tidak fleksibel untuk porsi diet yang bervariasi setiap hari. Hal ini memaksa pengguna untuk membawa beberapa wadah terpisah, yang tidak praktis dan merepotkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah "Lunch Box Modular" yang dapat disesuaikan untuk pengguna dengan rencana makan terstruktur. Fokus utama dari desain ini adalah fungsionalitas modular yang memungkinkan kompartemen untuk ditambah, dikurangi, atau diatur ulang sesuai dengan kebutuhan menu harian pengguna. Melalui pendekatan desain produk yang berpusat pada pengguna, penelitian ini menghasilkan konsep lunch box yang tidak hanya fleksibel dan mendukung kontrol porsi, tetapi juga mempertimbangkan aspek keberlanjutan material dan ergonomi. Hasil akhir dari perancangan ini adalah sebuah sistem wadah makanan yang fungsional, personal, dan mendukung gaya hidup sehat serta berkelanjutan Kata Kunci : Lunch Box, Desain Produk, Modular, Personalisasi, Keberlanjutan.
