Abstract

Sejauh ini para pengunjung masih menggunakan cara manual dengan menggunakan mesin pencari atau yang biasa diketahui dengan sebutan Google untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai lokasi tempat wisata. Untuk dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka penelitian ini memanfaatkan sistem informasi untuk dapat membuat suatu aplikasi daftar wisata. Sistem aplikasi ini dibuat khusus untuk lokasi tempat wisata yang terletak di wilayah Ibu kota Jakarta khususnya wilayah Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara, analisis data. Agile eXtreme Programming sebagai metode perancangan program aplikasi JakSelGO hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa dengan dikembangkannya sistem aplikasi JakSelGO dapat mempermudah memperoleh informasi yang akurat dan tersegmentasi. Aplikasi ini juga berpotensi menjadi media promosi efektif bagi destinasi wisata lokal di Jakarta Selatan. Currently, most visitors still rely on manual methods, such as using search engines like Google, to obtain information about tourist destinations. This approach is often inefficient and lacks segmentation, resulting in information that is not always accurate or relevant. To address this issue, this research aims to develop an information system in the form of an Android-based application called JakSelGo, specifically designed to provide a directory of tourist destinations located in South Jakarta, the southern region of Indonesia's capital city. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews and data analysis techniques, and applies the Agile eXtreme Programming (XP) method in the development process. The results of this research indicate that the JakSelGo application successfully provides more accurate, segmented, and easily accessible tourism information. Furthermore, the application has the potential to serve as an effective promotional tool for local tourist destinations in South Jakarta.
