Abstract

This quantitative correlational study aims to examine the Relationship between Parenting Patterns and Emotional Intelligence of Gen Z Children in Jakarta. A total of 207 respondents who are Gen Z children in Jakarta. There are 2 measuring instruments used, namely Parenting Patterns from Robinson et. Al (2015), Emotional Intelligence from Salovey & Mayer. The data were analyzed using regression techniques with the help of the SPSS version 29 program. The results of the hypothesis test show that there is a positive and significant relationship between Parenting Patterns and Emotional Intelligence of Gen Z Children in Jakarta, both simultaneously/together.. Keywords: Parenting Patterns, Emotional Intelligence Penelitian kuantitatif korelasional ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji Hubungan Pola Asuh Orangtua Terhadap Kecerdasan Emosional Anak Gen Z di Jakarta. Sebanyak 207 responden yang merupakan anak Gen Z di jakarta. Terdapat 2 alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu Pola Asuh Orangtua dari Robinson et. Al (2015), Kecerdasan Emosional dari Salovey & Mayer. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 29. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Pola Asuh Orangtua Terhadap Kecerdasan Emosional Anak Gen Z di Jakarta, baik secara simultan/bersama-sama. Kata Kunci : Pola Asuh Orangtua, Kecerdasan Emosional
