Abstract
Salah satu aspek pengelolaan kinerja yang baik di perusahaan IT yaitu proses monitoring dan evaluasi (Monev) task development. Namun besar kemungkinan dalam proses Monev ini ditemukan berbagai faktor permasalahan sehingga dapat menghambat kinerja tim dan target yang ingin dicapai oleh perusahaan. Hal ini juga terjadi di PT Electronic Data Interchange Indonesia (EDII) yang mengalami permasalahan dalam pengelolaan monitoring dan evaluasi task development diantaranya komunikasi yang tidak efektif antar tim, kesalahan dalam pengumpulan data dan kesulitan dalam dokumentasi pelaporan. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor permasalahan yang terjadi dalam proses monitoring dan evaluasi task development dan memberikan perbaikan usulan bisnis (BPR) dalam proses monitoring dan evaluasi task development dengan menggunakan metode BPMN. Metode ini dipilih karena dapat memvisualisasikan alur kerja sehingga dapat melihat titik-titik kritis yang perlu diperbaiki. Proses ini akan mempermudah pemahaman terhadap hambatan, peran aktor yang terlibat serta interaksi antar elemen-elemen dalam sistem yang ada. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perbaikan proses monitoring dan evaluasi task development mencakup penyederhanaan alur proses, peningkatan koordinasi antara User, PM, SA dan Programmer serta penguatan dokumentasi yang diperlukan untuk setiap tahap sehingga proses monitoring dan evaluasi task development menjadi lebih transparan, responsif dan terukur, yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kinerja tim dan kualitas pengembangan sistem di PT EDII. One aspect of good performance management in IT companies is the process of monitoring and evaluating task development (Monev). However, there is a big possibility that in this Monev process various problem factors are found that can hinder the team's performance and the targets to be achieved by the IT company. that can hinder team performance and the targets that the company wants to achieve. This is also the case at PT Electronic Data Interchange Indonesia (EDII) which experienced problems in managing monitoring and evaluation of task development including ineffective communication between teams, errors in data collection and difficulties in reporting documentation. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify the problem factors that occur in the process of monitoring and evaluation of task development and provide business proposal improvements (BPR) in the monitoring and evaluation process of task development using the BPMN method. This method was chosen because it can visualize the workflow so that it can see the critical points that need to be improved. This process will make it easier to understand the obstacles, the roles of the actors involved and the interactions between elements in the existing system. The result of this research is the improvement of monitoring and evaluation process of task development includes simplification of the process flow, increased coordination between users, PMs, SAs and programmers and strengthening the documentation required for each stage so that the monitoring and evaluation process of task development becomes more transparent, responsive and measurable, which in the end can improve team performance and the quality of system development at PT EDII.
