Abstract
Every academic institution has an academic information system to assist college activities, therefore it is very important to improve the efficiency and quality of academic information system. To achieve this, chatbot virtual assistant is made to help students and lecturers access information about college, such as class schedules, apprentices, and final assignments. This chatbot is designed using Llama-3 Large Language Model (LLM) which has the ability to produce output according to the given context. It is hoped that this virtual assistant can be a solution to improve academic services and support digitalization in the higher education environment. Kata kunci: Large Language Model, Llama-3, chatbot Setiap perguruan tinggi memiliki sistem informasi akademik yang berfungsi untuk membantu jalannya perkuliahan, oleh karena itu penting sekali untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas layanan sistem informasi akademik. Salah satu cara untuk mewujudkan hal ini adalah dengan menciptakan fitur baru, yaitu Chatbot Virtual Assistant yang dapat membantu mahasiswa dan dosen dalam mengakses informasi seputar kuliah, seperti jadwal kelas, kerja praktek dan tugas akhir. Chatbot ini dirancang menggunakan teknologi Large Language Model (LLM) Llama-3. Llama-3 merupakan teknologi kecerdasan buatan yang diciptakan oleh perusahaan Meta dan dapat memberikan output yang sesuai dengan konteks yang diberikan oleh pengguna. Virtual assistant ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan layanan akademik dan mendukung digitalisasi di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Kata kunci: Large Language Model, Llama-3, chatbot
