Abstract

Rendahnya minat baca di Indonesia berdampak pada terbatasnya inovasi dalam kegiatan literasi, yang cenderung pasif dan hanya berfokus pada pemahaman literal teks tanpa melibatkan rangsangan imajinatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perancangan, implementasi dan peran interaksi sosial dalam pendekatan stimulus imajinasi yang dilakukan oleh volunteer pada kegiatan literasi Komunitas Book Clan Jakarta. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah paradigma konstruktivis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan metode studi kasus, dimana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori konstruktivisme sosial dari Lev Vygotsky menekankan bahwa pembelajaran terjadi melalui interaksi dan kolaborasi dengan orang lain yang memiliki konsep utama yaitu Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) dan Scaffolding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perancangan stimulus imajinasi dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan mengedepankan kreativitas, sedangkan implementasinya berlangsung secara dinamis melalui aktivitas literasi yang mendorong daya imajinasi anggota serta interaksi sosial antara volunteer dan anggota komunitas berperan penting dalam membangun ruang dialogis yang mendorong stimulus imajinasi, sehingga memperkaya pengalaman literasi menjadi lebih imajinatif, reflektif, dan menyenangkan. The low reading interest in Indonesia affects the limited innovation in literacy activities, which tend to be passive and focus solely on literal text comprehension without involving imaginative stimulation. This study aims to analyze the design, implementation, and role of social interaction in the imagination stimulus approach carried out by volunteers in the literacy activities of the Book Clan Jakarta Community. The paradigm used in this research is the constructivist paradigm with a qualitative approach. The research method employed is a case study, in which data is collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. This study employs Lev Vygotsky’s theory of social constructivism, which emphasizes that learning occurs through interaction and collaboration with others. The core concepts of this theory include the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) and Scaffolding. The research findings indicate that the design of imagination stimulus is carried out collaboratively with an emphasis on creativity, while its implementation takes place dynamically through literacy activities that stimulate members’ imagination. Furthermore, social interaction between volunteers and community members plays a crucial role in creating a dialogical space that encourages imaginative stimulation, thereby enriching the literacy experience to become more imaginative, reflective, and enjoyable.
