Abstract
International relations between nations in the world are felt to be increasingly a necessity given the increasing level of interdependence among humans. Japan is one of the major countries that requires cooperation with foreign countries, both in the economic, social, cultural, and political, defense and security sectors. This is evidenced by the opening of a Japanese consulate general in several countries including Indonesia, there are 4 representatives of the consulate general of the Japanese state, each consulate also has a Japanese cultural center, namely in Medan, Jakarta, Surabaya, Makassar and one supporting branch in Bali. Jakarta is one of the many cities in Indonesia that was chosen for the establishment of the center of Japanese culture because Jakarta is the largest economic center in Indonesia, starting from the trade, business and financial industry sectors. The cultural center also functions as one of the means that can preserve culture, and also functions to provide information and education on cultural arts that can have a positive impact and increase character through cultural activities. However, the interior at the Japanese cultural center is still lacking in the atmosphere and nuance that implements Japanese culture itself. Therefore, the writer wants to create a space atmosphere with Japanese nuances starting from the ornaments, the form of furniture and all aspects that implement Japanese culture. And also the author wants to apply the Nature Of Modern Japanese style with a touch of Contemporary Minimalism. because from along with the development of the Minimalist era, it is increasingly being applied to a style that is in great demand by many people, besides that the characteristics of the contemporary itself are very synonymous with large windows as the entry of natural light, and also wooden floors. Just like most of the interior styles of Japanese homes. And also the love of the Japanese people for nature by implementing natural elements into a building / house to beautify the space as well as decoration. Keywords : Cultural center, Japan, Nature Of Modern Japanese Hubungan internasional antar bangsa di dunia dirasakan semakin menjadi suatu keharusan mengingat semakin tingginya tingkat ketergantungan antar sesama manusia. Jepang merupakan salah satu negara besar yang memerlukan kerjasama dengan negara luar, baik dibidang ekonomi, social, budaya, maupun politik pertahanan keamanan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan dibukanya konsulat jendral Jepang di beberapa negara termasuk Indonesia terdapat 4 perwakilan konsulat jendral negara Jepang yang tiap konsulat juga memiliki pusat kebudayaan Jepang yaitu terdapat di Medan, Jakarta, Surabaya, Makasar dan satu cabang pembantu di Bali. Jakarta menjadi salah satu dari sekian banyak kota yang ada di Indonesia yang terpilih untuk berdiri nya pusat kebudayaan Jepang karena Jakarta adalah pusat perekonomian terbesar di Indonesia, mulai dari sektor industri perdagangan, bisnis, dan keuangan. Pusat kebudayaan juga berfungsi sebagai salah satu sarana yang dapat melestarikan budaya, dan juga berfungsi untuk memberikan informasi dan pendidikan seni budaya yang dapat memberikan dampak positif dan meningkatkan budi pekerti melalui kegiatan kebudayaan. Akan tetapi, Interior pada pusat kebudayaan Jepang masih minim akan suasana dan nuansa yang mengimplementasikan budaya Jepang itu sendiri. maka dari itu penulis ingin mewujudkan suasana ruang yang bernuansa Jepang mulai dari ornamen, bentuk furniture dan segala aspek yang mengimplementasikan budaya Jepang. Dan juga penulis ingin menerapkan gaya Nature Of Modern Japanese dengan sentuhan Minimalis Kontemporer. karena dari seiring perkembangan zaman Minimalis semakin banyak diterapkan menjadi gaya yang sangat diminati oleh banyak orang, selain itu ciri dari kontemporer sendiri sangat identik dengan jendela yang besar sebagai masuknya cahaya alami, dan juga lantai kayu. Sama seperti kebanyakan gaya interior dari rumah Jepang. Dan juga kecintaan masyarakat Jepang akan alam dengan mengimplementasikan unsur alam ke dalam suatu bangunan/rumah untuk memperindah ruang juga sekaligus sebagai dekorasi.
