Abstract
Sexual violence refers to any behavior that degrades, humiliates, and/or assaults a person's body due to power or gender inequality, resulting in physical or psychological suffering for the victim. This phenomenon has gained attention across various media, including the film industry. The film Penyalin Cahaya explores the issue of sexual violence and its implications. Sexual violence can be categorized into four types: first, verbal; second, non-physical; third, physical; and fourth, with technological advancements, sexual violence can now also occur online or through information and communication technology. This study aims to examine the extent of the influence of exposure to the film Penyalin Cahaya on sexual violence behavior in campus environments. Using an explanatory quantitative approach through a survey method, data was collected by distributing questionnaires. The research population consists of students from Universitas Mercu Buana from the 2021 and 2022 cohorts, with a total of 61 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The analysis results indicate an influence between variables X and Y, with the frequency dimension having the most significant impact on sexual violence behavior in campus environments. This is observed in respondents who watched the film Penyalin Cahaya and, in the attention dimension, where respondents understood the messages conveyed through the film. The significance value is 0.000 (<0.05) with the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient shown
