Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of employee engagement, leadership, on employee performance through motivation as a mediating variable. The population in this study is 277 employees of PT. Telkom Access Central Jakarta. The sample used was as many as 80 respondents, calculated using the purposive sampling formula, the method of drawing samples based on the characteristics of the population that was considered relevant, the data collection method using the survey method, with the research instrument being a questionnaire, the data analysis method using SmartPLS (v. 3.2.9). The analysis used was direct effect and indirect effect analysis with the significance test of the mediation effect as well as the R square, F square and Variance Accounted For (VAF) tests. This study proves that employee engagement does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on motivation. Leadership does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Leadership does not have a significant effect on motivation. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through motivation. Leadership does not have a significant effect on performance through motivation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh employee engagement, kepemimpinan, terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi sebagai variable mediasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 277 orang pegawai PT. Telkom Akses Jakarta Pusat. Sampel yang dipergunakan adalah sebanyak 80 responde, dihitung menggunakan rumus purposive sampling, metode penarikan sampel berdasarkan karakteristik populasi yang dianggap relevan, metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey, dengan instrument penelitian adalah kuesioner, metode analisis data menggunakan SmartPLS (v. 3.2.9). Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis direct effect dan indirect effect dengan uji signifikansi efek mediasi serta uji R square, F square dan Variance Accounted For (VAF). Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa employee engagement tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Employee engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi. Kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi. Motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Employee engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi. Kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi.
