Abstract
This research examines the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) to company’s performance with Firm Size and Type of Industry as control variables. Company’s performance is measured by using Price to Book Value (PBV) and Cumulative Abnormal Return (CAR). CSR is measured by using Corporate Social Disclosure Index (CSDI), GCG is measured by using Corporate Governance Performance Index (CGPI). The samples of this study is 26 firms of LQ45 which category listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. The research period is year 2006 and 2007. The results shows that there is no significant relationship between CSR and GCG to PBV and CAR since the disclosures are still voluntary and there is a significant influence of type of industry to PBV.
