Abstract
Antusiasme penggemar sepak bola Indonesia dalam menelusuri berita terkait perjalanan tim nasional Indonesia di Piala Asia 2023 di Qatar begitu tinggi. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan tingginya angka minat penelusuran berita tim nasional sepak bola Indonesia selama berlaga di Piala Asia 2023, mulai dari tanggal 12 Januari hingga 1 Februari 2024 (Google Trend, 2024). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui framing pemberitaan media CNNIndonesia.com dan Kompas.com terkait tersingkirnya Indonesia dari Piala Asia 2023 periode 28 Januari-1 Februari 2024. Berita merupakan laporan kejadian atau peristiwa yang diberitakan media yang berguna, bermanfaat bagi masyarakat secara umum (Latief & Utud, 2017:140). Penelitian ini menggunakan teori framing untuk membantu peneliti dalam menganalisis pemberitaan tersingkirnya Indonesia dari Piala Asia 2023 pada media online CNNIndonesia.com dan Kompas.com periode 28 Januari-1 Februari 2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah content analysis atau analisis isi kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis framing versi Pan dan Kosicky. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa CNNIndonesia.com banyak menyoroti individu atau pribadi yang terlibat dalam pertandingan timnas Indonesia di Piala Asia 2023 lewat penggunaan bingkai human interest, sedangkan Kompas.com banyak mengapresiasi perjuangan timnas Indonesia di Piala Asia 2023 lewat penggunaan bingkai apresiasi. The enthusiasm of Indonesian football fans in exploring news related to the Indonesian national team's trip to the 2023 Asian Cup in Qatar is so high. This is evidenced by the high number of interests in searching for news of the Indonesian national football team while competing in the 2023 Asian Cup, starting from January 12 to February 1, 2024 (Google Trend, 2024). The purpose of this study is to determine the framing of CNNIndonesia.com and Kompas.com media coverage regarding Indonesia's elimination from the 2023 Asian Cup for the period January 28-February 1, 2024. News is a report of events or events reported by the media that are useful, useful for the general public (Latief & Utud, 2017: 140). This study uses framing theory to assist researchers in analyzing the news of Indonesia's elimination from the 2023 Asian Cup on online media CNNIndonesia.com and Kompas.com for the period 28 January-1 February 2024. The research method used in this research is content analysis or qualitative content analysis with Pan and Kosicky's framing analysis approach. The results of this study show that CNNIndonesia.com highlights many individuals or personalities involved in the Indonesian national team's match at the 2023 Asian Cup through the use of the human-interest frame, while Kompas.com appreciates the struggle of the Indonesian national team in the 2023 Asian Cup through the use of the appreciation frame.
