Abstract
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) emphasize the importance of balancing economic, social, and environmental interests to achieve long-term sustainability. In education, managing human resources in an environmentally friendly manner through the implementation of Green Human Resources Management (GHRM) has become a key strategy to support corporate sustainability. This study aims to examine the implementation of the GHRM model in achieving sustainability at Sekolah Alam Al Fazza, which is committed to naturebased education and environmentally friendly practices. The study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis as data collection methods. Data were analyzed using NVivo 12 to identify and develop a relevant GHRM model. The results show that the implementation of GHRM at Sekolah Alam Al Fazza includes initiatives such as green recruitment, green training, and sustainability-based employee evaluations. However, the main challenges include limited infrastructure, lack of commitment, and unstructured evaluation indicators. To address these issues, the school adopts collaboration-based strategies and community empowerment through educational activities and environmental practices. This research contributes by providing a conceptual model that can serve as a reference for other educational institutions in implementing GHRM to support school sustainability, while also highlighting the importance of aligning organizational policies with sustainability values. Keywords: GHRM, green recruitment, green training, corporate sustainability Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) menekankan pentingnya keseimbangan antara kepentingan ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan untuk mencapai keberlanjutan jangka panjang. Dalam pendidikan, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang ramah lingkungan melalui implementasi Green Human Resources Management (GHRM) menjadi salah satu strategi utama untuk mendukung corporate sustainability. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi model GHRM dalam mewujudkan keberlanjutan perusahaan di Sekolah Alam Al Fazza, yang memiliki komitmen terhadap pendidikan berbasis alam dan praktik ramah lingkungan. Sebagai metode pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Data dianalisis menggunakan NVivo 12 untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengembangkan model GHRM yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi GHRM di Sekolah Alam Al Fazza melibatkan inisiatif seperti green recruitment, green training, dan evaluasi karyawan berbasis keberlanjutan. Namun, tantangan utama yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan sarana prasarana, kurangnya komitmen, serta indikator evaluasi yang belum terstruktur. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, sekolah mengadopsi strategi berbasis kolaborasi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui kegiatan pendidikan dan praktik lingkungan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi memberikan model konseptual yang dapat menjadi acuan bagi institusi pendidikan lainnya dalam menerapkan GHRM untuk mendukung keberlanjutan sekolah, sekaligus menggarisbawahi pentingnya keseimbangan antara kebijakan organisasi dengan nilai-nilai keberlanjutan.
