Abstract
Receiving social support from family and the surrounding environment can help children of parents who experience domestic violence overcome stress and trauma due to the testimony of domestic violence events in the family experienced, so that it can help shape emotional maturity in themselves. This study aims to analyze the effect of social support on the emotional maturity of late adolescents who are children of domestic violence survivors. The method in this study is a regression linear research method by taking a sample through convenience sampling technique of 442 late adolescent subjects who are children of domestic violence survivors. There are two instruments used in this study, namely the Emotional Maturity Scale which was initiated by Bhargava and Singh (1990) and has been developed by Cyril and Raj (2017), and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) which was initiated by Zimet, et al. The data analysis technique in this study used statistical analysis with a simple linear regression model through SPSS Version 25 software. The findings in this study indicate that social support has a significant influence on the emotional maturity of late adolescents who are children of domestic violence survivors with a contribution of 1%, while the remaining 99% is influenced by other factors outside this study. Penerimaan dukungan sosial dari keluarga serta lingkungan sekitar dapat membantu anak dari orang tua yang mengalami KDRT mengatasi stres dan trauma akibat kesaksian peristiwa KDRT dalam keluarga yang dialam, sehingga dapat membantu membentuk kematangan emosional dalam dirinya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari dukungan sosial terhadap kematangan emosional remaja akhir yang menjadi anak dari orang tua penyintas KDRT. Adapun metode dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian regresi linear dengan mengambil sampel melalui teknik convenience sampling sebanyak 442 subjek remaja akhir yang menjadi anak dari orang tua penyintas KDRT. Terdapat dua instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yakni Emotional Maturity Scale yang digagas oleh Bhargava dan Singh (1990) dan telah dikembangkan oleh Cyril dan Raj (2017), serta Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) yang digagas oleh Zimet, dkk., (1988). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik dengan model regresi linear sederhana melalui perangkat lunak SPSS Versi 25. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kematangan emosional remaja akhir yang menjadi anak dari orang tua penyintas KDRT dengan sumbangsih sebesar 1%, sedangkan 99% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini.
