Abstract
The implementation of Lean Construction has become an important focus in the construction industry to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. This study analyzes the factors influencing the application of Lean Construction using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method in the construction of the Training Center building in Cibitung. The main issues identified include delays in execution due to unfinished designs, prolonged decision-making processes by the owner regarding design and material approvals, and material waste caused by repetitive work resulting from design changes. The results indicate that design uncertainty and slow approval processes significantly impact the project schedule and costs, while repeated design changes lead to material waste. The FMEA analysis identifies a lack of communication between teams as a primary contributing factor. These findings provide valuable information for enhancing collaboration and efficiency in the application of Lean Construction, which can help create better and more efficient construction methods in the future. Penerapan Konstruksi Ramping (Lean Construction) telah menjadi perhatian penting dalam industri konstruksi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengurangi pemborosan. Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan Konstruksi Ramping menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) pada proyek pembangunan Gedung Training Center di Cibitung. Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi meliputi keterlambatan pelaksanaan akibat desain yang belum final, lamanya proses pengambilan keputusan oleh owner, dan pemborosan material akibat pekerjaan berulang dari perubahan desain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketidakpastian desain dan proses persetujuan yang lambat berdampak signifikan pada jadwal dan biaya proyek, sedangkan perubahan desain yang berulang menyebabkan pemborosan material. Analisis FMEA mengidentifikasi kurangnya komunikasi antara tim sebagai faktor penyebab utama. Temuan ini memberikan informasi penting untuk meningkatkan kerja sama dan efisiensi dalam penerapan Konstruksi Ramping, yang dapat membantu menciptakan caracara konstruksi yang lebih baik dan lebih efisien di masa depan.
