Abstract
This study aims to describe the influence of workload and compensation on job satisfaction with work-life balance as a mediating variable at PT PLN (Persero) UPT Pulogadung. The research was conducted at PT PLN (Persero) UPT Pulogadung using a sample size of 120 respondents and sampling technique used was non-probability sampling. The data analysis technique used was SEM-PLS, with calculations assisted by the SmartPLS 3.2.9 program. The Partial Least Square (PLS) model evaluation analysis was carried out with outer model evaluation, inner model evaluation, and hypothesis testing. The data analysis showed that workload has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, workload has a negative and significant effect on work-life balance, compensation has a positive and significant effect on work-life balance, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, workload has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction through work-life balance as a mediating variable, and compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction through work-life balance as a mediating variable. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pengaruh beban kerja dan kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan Work-Life Balance sebagai variabel mediasi pada PT PLN (Persero) UPT Pulogadung. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada PT PLN (Persero) UPT Pulogadung dengan menggunakan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 120 responden dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Non Probability Sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah SEM-PLS yang perhitungannya dibantu dengan program SmartPLS 3.2.9. Analisis evaluasi model Partial Least Square (PLS) dilakukan dengan evaluasi Outer Model, Inner Model dan pengujian hipotesis. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Work-Life Balance, kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Work-Life Balance, Work-Life Balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja melalui Work-Life Balance sebagai variabel mediasi, dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja melalui Work-Life Balance sebagai variabel mediasi.
