Abstract
The role of human resources in a company is very important, because the quality of the resources that the company has is a valuable asset. The development of the company is important, especially the development of human resources. The attachment of human resources to their work is also crucial because it can have an impact on the performance of a company or agency. The necessary strategic efforts are to identify career development in the agency and the job satisfaction of its members. The purpose of this study is to see the influence of Career Development and Job Satisfaction on the Work Engagement of members at the National Police Headquarters. The research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The analysis technique used is a multiple linear regression analysis technique assisted by IBM SPSS Ver 25 Software. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the Career Development Variable (X1) had a significant positive influence on Work Engagement (Y) because t calculated 2.447 > 1.986 and the significance of 0.0016 < 0.005. Similar to career development, the Job Satisfaction variable (X2) has a significant positive influence on Work Engagement (Y) because t counts are 2.512 > 1.968 and the significance is 0.016 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that career development and job satisfaction have an important role in individual work engagement in their agencies Keywords: Career Development, Turnover Intention, Job Satisfaction Peranan sumber daya manusia di dalam suatu perusahaan sangatlah penting, karna kualitas sumber daya yang perusahaan miliki merupakan asset berharga. Perkembangan perusahaan menjadi hal yang penting khususnya perkembangan pada sumber daya manusia. Keterikatan sumber daya manusia terhadap pekerjaannya pun menjadi hal yang krusial karena dapat berdampak pada kinerja sebuah Perusahaan atau instansi. Upaya strategi yang diperlukan yakni mengidentifikasi pengembangan karir pada instansi tersebut dan kepuasan kerja para anggotanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh Pengembangan Karir dan Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Work Engagement anggota di Mabes Polri. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. teknik analisis yang digunakan yakni teknik analisis regresi linier berganda yang dibantu menggunakan Software IBM SPSS Ver 25. Hasil Uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa Variabel Pengembangan Karir (X1) memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Work Engagement (Y) karena t hitung sebesar 2,447 > 1,986 dan signifikansi 0,0016 < 0,005. Sama halnya dengan pengembangan karir, variabel Kepuasan Kerja (X2) memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Work Engagement (Y) karena t Hitung sebesar 2,512 > 1,968 dan signifikansi 0,016 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan karir dan kepuasan kerja memiliki peran penting terhadap Work engagement individu pada instansinya Kata Kunci : Pengembangan Karir, Kepuasan Kerja dan Work Engagement
